Episode 3 was so good as well! This is such a unique drama, love the acting and the storytelling is impeccable so far!
It's been a while since a drama had my attention for whole episodes without anything distracting me or urging me to skip. Nowadays, I always find myself skipping small parts of dramas or doing something simultaneously. But this one really has me glued the whole episode lol
I'm actually surprised myself, because I also definitely like the other dramas I'm watching, but idk, maybe because of overstimulation and lack of concentration, I tend to be not so focused.
I really love this one so far! I sincerely hope it will stay this good until the end :)
Ep.8 is still my favourite ep of all. That episode was just so perfect, from beginning til end. The writing, the soundtrack, the comedy, the romance. Ep. 8 was perfection! I still rewatch that episode sometimes. I'm actually sad that that timeline won't continue. Sun Jae wasn't dead yet, so I hoped they would go back to that timeline in the future...
Tbh compared to ep.8,... ep 9 and 10 felt lukewarm to me. Too much filler and comedy-relief scenes. While I still enjoyed them, my excitement level from ep. 8 was gone. The kiss from ep.10 was also nothing compared to ep.8. I mean... yeah that longing kiss of 15 years can't be compared to that in university, but still, it was underwhelming.
And why did they not play that song "Cause I'm slowly falling in love with you~" even once in ep.9 or 10?? I LOVE THAT SONG! And the full song is still not out yet... I hope nothing went wrong with song license or something. Because I need that song on Spotify ASAP! 😭💔
I believe I Na's power is that she can control minds or rather influence the minds of people. Particularly intrusive thoughts of people. Influence them to bring action to their thoughts.
I believe her mom thought of committing suicide or driving that car off the cliff, because she looked so sad and broken before the accident. I Na stared into her eyes and mom let her intrusive thoughts win.
Perhaps I Na is even aware of her power and deliberately distracts herself with her smartphone to mitigate its effects. That's why she intentionally is on her smartphone so that the addiction holds of her powers, because she feels responsible for her mother's death.
But well, I could be totally off and she's just able to read minds haha
The Male lead use to beat the hell out of IU in My Mister. Ah!!! Hope my heart is going to forgive him here.
Watch him in "Come and Hug Me" and the character he played in "My Mister" will vanish from your mind lol He's such a golden retriever/protector/green flag in that one 😊
I really, really enjoyed the first two episodes! I wasn't bored for a second and it's been a while that a drama had my attention from the get-go. Now I regret that I started so soon 😅 Can't wait for next episodes!
Tbh I was put off by some comments, but I'm happy I still tried, because I actually do like the FL haha. It's obvious she's gonna have character development and the premise that FL is approaching ML intentionally and falling in love in the process is totally my cup of tea :D I love flawed yet captivating characters. I have a feeling that I'm going to like this drama a lot! ❤️
Chun Woo Hee also has a topless scene in this,,,... sigh
Oh okay! It sounded quite judgemental haha That's usually not an aspect which I pay attention to, so if the story and acting is good, then that's it for me 😄
Ep.16 now... gosh Zhuang Jie acting like a real jerk. What kind of half-assed apology was that and then her throwing a tantrum, because he didn't accept her "apology" and called her annoying. And she was sooo offended by that "annoying" word lol... what does she think he felt, when she said those hurtful words to him?
I was loving her until that new years night, but she's unreasonable and b*tchy after that. Pls don't make me hate her. She acts like a real red flag... And I don't want him to take her back if she's not apologizing sincerely and stops acting like a freaking victim...
Just started episode 15 and man, the mom is really getting under my skin... It's infuriating how she takes out her bad mood on everyone, especially her daughter.
And what's her deal with Chen Mai Dong? Their backgrounds aren't spotless either, so why the hostility? If anything, he's the more grounded one in the relationship. Doesn't drink, super caring – total green flag! That's what's making me even more ticked off.
edit: Gosh... Zhuang Jie, why are you taking your mood on others out as well >_>
So, Zhou Luo's attitude towards Nan Ya at first, is actually no different from the other disgusting men in this town. This is no „romance“ or „love“. It’s lust.
They be lusting after her, seeing her as nothing than a mere s*x object, having imaginations about her. Trying to touch her, getting refused and then acting like she asked for the sexual harassment. Also blaming her for THEIR indecent thoughts and lust.
Even if she was reading erotic stuff and not poetry, that is NOT an invitation for sexual harassment or asking for "it". At least, he knew, that it was him being indecent and in the wrong. But still... doesn't excuse his behavior. He is no different from the other disgusting lusting men... and I guess he knows it and was angry because of that.
"When Nan Ya was heavily pregnant, Xu Yi had kicked her in the stomach. Wanwan was born prematurely and under-developed."
"At first, she did show up with bruises on her face, but later there weren't any. Maybe because Xu Yi knew better and didn't slap her face." And his laugh afterwards. DISGUSTING!
Gosh, the people in this town are so sick. How ALL of them talk so nonchalant about the constant abuse of this woman which was going on for years, as if it's something totally normal. SICK!
The intense gaze Lin Fang Lu has, when he is interrogating someone. Intimidating. Even I'd think I am lying even though I'm telling the truth lol He stares through you hahaha
Just binge-watched ep 1-2 and now on ep.3. The quality of this drama is really awesome! I love the production and the writing-style. Totally cinematic-feeling while watching this.
So disturbing that everyone was so okay or even "approved" with how the husband abused and raped his wife constantly. Like I don't even care if that was planned murder and not self-defense, because that husband was a piece of sh*t. And the indifference of the police is infuriating. It's sadly realistic, especially given the time period portrayed.
Also that older cop, Lao Chen, is kinda disgusting. Especially the fact, that his character is so realistic 😅
