i am loving this drama, the only thing I genuinely dislike is the redemption arc for her father. He does not deserve…
I have yet to see a drama where horrible or abusive parents deserve a redemption arc. I think I have not seen a single Asian drama which did a good work with parents redemption story. They are either forgiven because they got sick or because "He/she is still my mom/dad blablaba" π
Can we have more Qi Qi and Xiao Bo scenes please! Heβs falling deeper for her. Those glances at her are so lovely β€οΈ
I really loved their scenes today and how they took that hotel dinner to take a glimpse of what βanother worldβ can look like. Sometimes you need new motivation to thrive further.β¨ In contrast to Zhang Jun and Qi Qiβs electrifying scenes, Qi Qi and Xiao Boβs scenes feel so calm, comfortable and inspirational. I absolutely love both pairings different dynamics and chemistry!
But why do I get the feeling Qi Qi wonβt end up with either of the boys?! I have the underlying feeling that something bad is gonna happen and I just hope Iβm wrong.
I actually can imagine Qi Qi will just go out and explore the world alone, because she is so curious and imaginative since she was a kid.β¨ As a romance addict I will be sad with an ending like this, but as a slice of life lover I guess it fits this drama and her character. But stillβ¦ I want romance hahaha π She has too good of chemistry and development with both that it would be a pity if those feelings wonβt be explored further.
It's really good! If you enjoy youth and slight romance (so far) then you will like it. For some it can be slow in the beginning, but I think it has the perfect pace as introduction to the leads . Definitely recommend binge-watching until ep 6 and see if it's to your liking. I think it's really well-written β€οΈ
What's up with Qi Qi and Zhang Jun? I thought they are friends again. Seriously, they will have some of the most beautiful and breathtaking scenes together and in the next second one of them pulls back. I do absolutely love them together but their push-and-pull games are getting tiring... >_< Please make up your minds! You're stringing my heart along...π
Also today's ep kinda confused me. Did she indirectly tell him that she likes him with that "I'm not mysterious at all. You know what I'm thinking". And he rejected her with silence? Or what was that? What did she write on that wall? In viki it is translated as "long bow"... what does that mean?
So my lovely Xiao Bo... Now that you know of Qi Qi and Zhang Jun's vague relationship, I hope you step up your game. Goldfishes aren't enough anymore to win her heart π
Can someone recommend me Wuxia or Xianxia dramas with amazing fighting scenes like MJTY? I really don't like the flying/floating type of fights which we usually see in Xianxia dramas.
Is there even a drama which can hold the candle with those beautiful fights, which are both great in cinematography and choreography like MJTY? I'm pretty new in the Wuxia/Xianxia game, so I don't know a lot π
I already watched: The Long Ballad Till the End of the Moon Love Like the Galaxy
Finally this drama reached 1000 watchers... This is so underrated and I'm kinda confused why π Well-known lead actors, popular novel author, youth and romance...
Xiao Bo slowly realizing that he's in love with Qi Qi? How he started at her during that fish catch games was too adorable and it seemed he realizes that he thinks of her as more than just a sister β€οΈ Or am I delusional? π
Also Qi Qi and Zhang Jun's staring at each other in ep 11 was sooooo long... I almost stopped breathing. It was cute but awkward at the same time π So they slowly get closer?
Let the love triangle begin... I don't want anybody of them to get hurt, but I guess it's impossible ππ
There wasn't much of Qi Qi and Xiao Bo today, but I really love the scenes of them studying together π
Can someone tell me who understands Mandarin in what kind of accent they spoke in ep 10 at timestamp 8:15 min? Was that even Mandarin? It almost sounded like Thai to me hahaha π... did they just pronounce the words weirdly? Can someone explain? I found that so endearing β€οΈ
The episodes are just too short T-T I should've waited before I started this π I'm really not used to watching a Chinese drama with just one ep per day with just 40-45 min air time ... I need more!
I know I already said it, but I absolutely love Qi Qi and Zhang Jun's chemistry! Just like Nauriya perfectly described it, they have an "electrifying aura". I hope they can rekindle their friendship soon. Every time I think they're getting closer, it's a cold fight again. π But before that I hope Zhang Jun sincerely apologizes for the pain he caused her. I have a feeling that he actually doesn't know how deeply he hurt her in the past.
For him it was maybe just a quarrel as kids and that's why he doesn't understand her resentment towards him, but for her it was much more than that, especially on a day which was so traumatizing for her. I'm curious how their relationship is gonna develop. I mean they probably won't end up together, but I just enjoy their crush on each other for now π
I love Zhang Jun but sometimes I really want to slap that smug expression off his face lol
The beauty of human diversity! The negatives you mentioned where one of the reasons I loved the drama. I'm a sucker…
I think the last time I've seen you was on Lovely Liar or Fake it till you make it π I just see u around sometimes and know you are quite active here.
The beauty of human diversity! The negatives you mentioned where one of the reasons I loved the drama. I'm a sucker…
I know. It's the same with my simple comment actually. Nothing big, but they will blow it out of proportion. Regardless of what you say, if it's not 100% in favor of the drama, they will come for you hahaha π
I guess we just have to ignore and block if necessary. Let's not get hung up on these experiences. Life is too short to argue with people like that anyway π

Oh man, don't get me started π I've never had such a bad experience with any other actor's fans. But some XZ fans are on another level of biased and unreasonable.
If one doesn't share their opinion, it's automatically hate propaganda of antis π Gonna give them credit for being so dedicated at being so annoying and paranoid lol ππ
If XZ wouldn't be such an amazing actor, I would maybe avoid his dramas because of a few of his rabid fans who really make the whole watching experience worse by snapping at everything you say.
But he is too good of an actor and I couldn't care less about those minions. Also not all XZ fans are like them, so I know there are good ones out there. The bad ones are just too loud π
I am a fan and I was disappointed with the writing. The writer didn't write a story, she wrote a fantasy for herself.…
Yes, I agree! As much as I enjoyed the leads, it became kinda hard to watch seeing him so in love and doing everything to pursuit her while she didn't really give an effort to be with him. Of course, work related she was a big support for him, but I feel that the writers could have balanced out their relationship with this length of a drama. I feel that their relationship just came too short because all the screen time went to the side characters. Which was highly frustrating if one doesn't like those characters or just simply don't care about their story.

But still MJTY fights were superior to me.

But more than this I'm so thrilled we gonna have a HP spin-off!!! kyaaaaa!!!! I didn't know about that at all. I'm so happy π₯°
I see u often in other comment sections. See you there~ β€οΈ
