That was such a honest and sincere confession of him! โค๏ธ Are they really together now?!?! And the way he had her "friendship" ring as a necklace with him. So endearing ๐ญ
Thoughts about ep 9:
Tbh I think Tang Ying was really unfair to him in ep 9. He prepared a place for her to rest in and didn't even rest himself. Then he just wanted to spent more time with her even tho he was exhausted himself.
That annoying girl came by and squeezed herself between them. Zi Quan clearly wanted to be alone with Tang Ying, but she didn't firmly reject Michelle to eat with them, even tho Zi Quan obviously did! Then Zi Quan politely rejected that girl's attempts to flirt with him repeatedly but Tang Ying actually pushed him towards her with her snappy and unnecessary remarks and provoked him. It was clear that the girl deliberately fell on him. Tang Ying is not dumb. She can see it. But she acted all upset and pissed by herself even tho she was kinda a hypocrite and even pushed that girl towards him, even giving her HIS contacts.
I really didn't like Tang Ying attitude in today's episode. Even asked him if he had sex, when he came back -_- That was seriously so unnecessary and immature of her. Maybe she wanted to test him, but I think she doesn't have any right to do that, because she was not honest herself. It's good that our ML was at least cool headed and tried to sort it out with her immediately. That's how we got that beautiful ending of ep 9! ๐
I thought they got officially together after ep 6... but apparently they're not? What was that kiss and confession then T-T In ep 7 and 8 they're still not dating. I'm disappointed... :(
And now they introduced another female to stir up their relationship. I kind of lost the interest in this drama. I still really adore the main couple, but the usual SML and SFL trope who just exist to stir up problems, became really boring. ML's parents will definitely also cause problems. Guess we will not see much romance after all. Still really hope the main leads won't break up because of outside forces... oh wait... they're not even together yet >_>
I'm just watching for the main leads at this point. I really like them, but I was naive to hope for more romance in a Japanese drama. I like the doctor and Risa as well.
But Airi and Osamu I can't understand at all... How did Airi even fell in love with him? He was nice to her once and then she fell for him?
Great cast but 40 episodes for modern drama is too much ๐
It depends. I usually also thought 40 eps are too much for a modern drama, but the drama "Meet Yourself" changed my mind ๐ I could've watched 100 episodes of that drama.
If it's well-written with interesting characters then it can work. I'm looking forward to watch Incomparable Beauty. Just waiting for good subs :D
Really feared that would happen, but I hate these unnatural "falling in love" plots. So he really drastically changed after he drank that love spell drink. It is quite unbelievable that the love spell was a hoax and he fell "naturally" in love with her. Now every development that the leads gonna have will just feel fake for me. Also that past lovers trope again... Can we please have a natural approach of falling in love? But well... this is called Destined with you. What was I expecting ._.
I can't put my finger on it but I find FL really unlikable. She's just so annoying and super immature sometimes. At this point I like SFL more and I actually feel bad for her. She genuinely seems to love ML.
And oh gosh I can't stand how much screen time all those annoying colleagues have. Just want to skip. Do Koreans find that office bullying plot actually amusing? I have the feelings the writers think this is some kind of funny comedy relief, when it's not. There is almost no likable character in this drama. I'm giving this another episode to change my mind...
But as someone who understands Korean, I found it quite interesting how Doo Shik and Mi Hyun still spoke formal ์กด๋๋ง (Jondaemal) to each other even tho they seem to be of similar age and have been together for quite some time.
On the other hand Ji Hee seems to be younger than Joo Won, but they speak informal ๋ฐ๋ง (Banmal) to each other.
Just something I observed and found interesting in their different couple dynamics ๐
Sounds weird, but I'm relieved that Ji Hee died in an accident and not due to Joo Won's occupation and the danger behind it. I think the guilt he would've felt would be enormous otherwise.
I have a theory- we saw in these 2 episodes how obsessed the Min guy is with reviving the organisation and his…
Didn't we already know that Min Yong Joon is behind the school? Especially in ep 7 when he was angered about that video clip of Lee Kang Hoon going public because it disrupted his secret plan...
The ending of ep 4. I thought finally we got some heartwarming interactions between Kwon Sook and Tae Young, but turns out that ML watched some documentary of hers and knows how her father calmed her down before a match and he just imitated it.
I'm not sure if it was genuine of ML or he's still manipulating her >_>
I'm actually baffled that there is a documentary of hers which clearly shows how abusive her father was while training her and they still aired it. Apparently no one found that gruesome?!
SML is definitely fishy... I don't believe he has genuine feelings for FL. The way he suddenly changed his mind and started to pursue her was already weird, but now after ep 4 I'm pretty sure he has some dubious intentions. He wants to be an agent and wants her as his athlete. He already admitted to that. Little does he know that she just wants to retire finally...
I really don't care for FL and SML interactions. Hope they will have less screentime in the future...

Both MLs are such softies and I'm here for it! Also Bong Seok-ie โค๏ธ

I'm considering watching "Once Again" for him... but those 100 eps are holding me back haha
