Just bingewatched 8 episodes…Why isn’t this more popular? The main leads are on fire!!! It’s been so long that I’ve felt such a sizzling heat with a couple. The sexual tension is burning! Lol I guess the business part could be quite boring, but please watch for the main leads! They are worth it!
This drama is just so beautiful and wholesome! Just rewatched it for the fourth time or so. Love to watch it once a year and I still bawl my eyes out every time, especially while watching the last few episodes. The acting is superb, the angst hurts but feels good at the same time. I really love a drama where even every single support role is just so likeable!
A drama like this with so many emotions is really so rare! I especially love the fairy tales told which are connecting to the story in itself. I wish those books were real ones, so I can buy them all!
I also come here every time to read the comments, when I encounter this drama again. Be it because of short clips on YT or because I just felt the need to rewatch it. Seriously one of the best dramas ever made!
I just can't get over the fact that FL's chemistry is so much better with 2ML. Cause we at least see some emotions…
I guess everyone feels different. I think the main leads have much more chemistry. I even love them off-screen in the behind scenes together 😊 Of all So Hyun's male co stars she acted with, I actually feel the most chemistry with Min Hyun.
And I like Min Hyun's acting. I've seen him in AOS and Live on and I think he improved here a lot. Especially the emotions he expresses with his eyes. I think is voice tone is somewhat monoton, that's what I feel sometimes too, but I definitely see all the feelings on his face especially his eyes.
But yes, Seo Ji Hoon is great at acting and sometimes even a scene stealer. He stole the show in the drama "Meow, the Secret Boy" back then for me. But here I'm pretty satisfied with our ML, so can't complain 😅
This has kinda 2012 drama vibes and I'm not quite sure if I like it. Honestly the first two episodes were a chore to watch. Pretty mediocre, but there were definitely some scenes that I liked and enjoyed.
But so far generic characters with semi-doormat airheaded pitiful FL and douchebag ML. The over exaggerated acting of FL puts me off highly. The office bullying is unbearable to watch and so annoying.
But I like the enemies to lovers trope if it is well-written. Hope they can pull this off and make it natural, because I can't imagine how they gonna fall in love when it started like this.
I like that he already has a gf, because this usually brings more angst into the story which I like. And I liked the mystery spooky part, especially with ML being kinda "possessed" and that's what's keeps me going.
Of all the changes from the novel, why did the mom have to be sick?! Im annoyed.
I hate this trope so much in dramas!
Horrible parent -> get sick -> "oh so pitiful" -> abusive behaviour towards child excused -> forgiven and forgotten.... arrrghhh... can they pls stop???
This drama could've been so much better if they would just followed the novel...
I do start to think they planned this as a drama with many seasons, because why would you introduce so many characters…
This definitely has potential for many seasons, but so many A+ celebrities... I doubt they'll be able to cast all of them again. Maybe a few of them, but then this wouldn't hit the same imo. And it's a Disney+ production... I don't trust Disney+ with seasons.
I just hope they'll still be able to give us as much quality content as they can for the next 9 episodes... Just 9 eps to go... that's sooo little 😱
This could've easily been one of the best youth romances of 2023 if the writer didn't forget the romance along the way... I'm really sad that I kinda lost the interest and excitement for this drama.
After they got together the sparks that this couple had are completely gone and we're stuck with kindergarten skinship or even non at all. They're not even holding hands anymore. Always have their hands in pockets or on bags when they're walking next to each other. Am I the weird one for wanting some more romance or couple vibes of them?
Oh man... they really wasted a great opportunity with this well-matched couple. Before I was even excited to watch this with those horrible subs... now I'm not enjoying this as much. I guess I had other expectations of this drama.
This could have been as good or even better as dramas like WIFTY, Hidden Love, Our Secret or Forever Love... if they had put more focus on romance and natural couple vibe. Sadly, missed opportunity. I know we still got 10 episodes to go, but still...
If all main leads each get 2 episodes of past and other flashbacks then I think 20 episodes are certainly not enough. We still need to see the past of Lee Jae Man and what happened to Doo Shik is also still a mystery. I feel like we just scratched the surface of a few main leads and we're already done with more than half of the episodes T-T
I wish this drama would have more episodes so that they're able to dive in the past deeper and also have enough time for the reunions and stories in the present... I really hope when they get back to the present part they won't rush the story... With so many leads and stories this could've easily had more than 20 episodes. And I doubt there will be another season because look at this star-studded cast. They won't be able to cast all of them again...
His father paid the rent the whole time the silver shop was closed. After the uncle's death his father said that Shen Juan should focus on his studies and college entrance exam. He said it in ep 12 after they visited uncles grave.
is it just me or did the translations get really bad from episode 12, I can hardly keep up now 🙁 would hate…
The subs were actually bad from the beginning 😅 Good subs are on viki from eps 1-10. Tomorrow eps 11 and 12 will be out. Maybe you should wait until viki has most of them subbed, so that you don't ruin your watching experience :D
I guess everyone kinda feels the same about the episodes after ep 14... after they got together they still have friends dynamics and don't really act like a fresh-made-couple. There is almost no natural interaction as a couple. I don't need them to make out or something, but I feel that the focus on romance is completely gone now. It's more slice of life and overcoming past trauma now. I wish they would've found a good balance between romance and slice of life. They occasionally hold hands, but why do I feel that the sizzling chemistry that they had back in High School is wasted? I still like the drama and the lead's open and understanding communication, but maybe I had too much expectations in regards to romance because I really loved their chemistry in the beginning.
As a J drama lovers it is the obstacles that I find interesting and make me want to stay watching it until the…
I like obstacles too, but in J Dramas we don't really get to see the couple as a couple and that's a pity. Because for me that's part of a romance drama. I especially love modern Chinese dramas for that. I guess everyone has their taste :D
Yes, go save the industry with your insightful criticism! 😂
