They rushed their love story since it was a flashback it was nice seeing Zo In Suk after so many years and with…
Yes, agree! For a flashback it was well-made. I was just surprised how many people talked about their intense and groundbreaking chemistry lol Well, good for them if they felt it like that :D
I also missed Jo In Sung!! "t's okay, that's Love" has been the last project I saw of him and it's been sooo long. But it seemed like he didn't age at all. Still looking fine as back then. And Han Hyo Joo was amazing in "Happiness". I'm looking forward to more scenes of them in the present time :D
Ep 8 & 9 were good, but I wasn't quite sold at Doo Shik's and Mi Hyun's romance. Sadly, I didn't feel the immense chemistry like other viewers, but I guess they did their best with the little time they had to show us their relationship and the dynamics back then as agents. I found it cute how similar Bongseok is to his father when it comes to romance haha :D
And it's cool that Doo Shik and Joo Won were partners back then. I'm more interested in their agent life. I hope we get to see more of their story and bromance.
I actually can't wait until the story of the adults and the kids merge in the present life! š
I loved episodes 1-7 but eps 8 & 9 left me cold and it's not because I don't appreciate mature romance (I'm 57…
This!!!! It's like you can read my mind. Thank you for accurately delivering my thoughts and feelings :D
People thinking the ones complaining/not quite satisfied about 8 & 9 are just teens who are obsessed over teen romance is so annoying.
Even tho I enjoyed ep 8 & 9. Episode 1-7 just hit different and it had nothing do to with either romances. I guess they did their best with little time to show us Bongseok's parents past, but I also thought their story wasn't as satisfying. I also really don't understand that mission with NK president and why everyone is now out there for Dooshik. Can someone explain it to me please? š
Hahaha yeah š If you get used to the awful subs you can actually know now which names are translated weirdly. Tired - Shen Juan Small Language - Lin Yu Jing Little Mushroom - Xiao Mo Gu Big Orange - the cat
This is such a heartwarming and cozy drama. I really hope people don't downrate this because of the awful subs. That would be too unfair to this beautiful drama. Please newcomers: Wait until viki subs this or you find other decent subs before starting. It will be worth it!
I'm a victim of my impatience and disobedience, so I actually wanted to wait until we get proper subs, but I was bored and had too much free time, so I just watched further with awful subs lol But even with those subs I enjoy this drama a lot. Can you imagine how good it is, when we finally get decent subs?
The main leads have a ton of chemistry and both characters are so authentic and likeable. And Shen Juan's eyes when he's looking at Lin Yu Jing... So lovingly ā¤ļø Honey dripping from his eyes... It's my first drama of Sabrina Zhuang and third of Zhou Yi Ran and they really are highly compatible. They are doing a pretty good job! I hope this drama will keep up like that. I'm loving it so far even with the horrifying subs hahaha
Finally they are together! I really adore the main couple. They are cute and fluffy and Kento is such a green flag...Pls just let them be together peacefully without any break ups! ā¤ļø
But Japanese dramas tend to put a lot of obstacles like misunderstandings/miscommunication in their romance dramas and never show us a proper relationship or peaceful couple time. I really wish Jdramas would step up their game with romance dramas. Korean and Chinese dramas evolved in some kind of way, but Jdramas tend to be really stagnant in that genre. I really wonder why...
I guess I will get some hateful comments, but I just have to get this off my chest for once:āØāØ
I donāt like Tushan Jing. I gave him 39 episodes to change my mind, but itās sad that I didnāt manage to warm up with this character who will get to live happily-ever-after with our FL. He is an okayish character but compared to MLs like Cang Xuan and Xiang Liu, he just feels incredibly flat and one-dimensional. He holds absolutely no candle to them. And no, itās not because heās nice that heās so dull. Iāve seen quite a lot of nice MLs who managed to be quite interesting and have an alluring personality.
āØāØWell, I will admit. It was highly to his disadvantage that the most annoying and hateful characters were all around him. His fiancee, brother and grandma were the most frustrating side plot characters ever. Just wanted to skip when they showed up on the screen. Also the ridiculous reasons the writer pulled out of their a** to part XY and TSJ every few episodes were also just frustrating and extremely draggy at some point, which also didnāt help my view of their relationship. I felt bad for TSJ, but his timid, self-conscious and relatively weak personality throughout the whole drama didnāt help either.
āØāØHe had little to almost no character development whatsoever. All the other leads developed in some kind of way, be it bad or good, they were multi-layered with variation of different shades of grey, but TSJ was stagnant THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE DRAMA. I guess they intended to write him like that, to show his āunchangingā nature, which seemed to be the only reason of choice for our female lead with abandonment issues. But letās be real, he made a lot of empty promises and let the woman he loves suffer because of his hesitant, passive and lenient personality. That lad still managed to marry someone else after all that lolāØāØ
Sometimes he even felt more like a support rather than the 2nd male lead. I don't think itās Deng Weiās acting. I actually liked his acting, but it was his role which made him so dull in comparison. Maybe because the other MLs had more personality, which also allowed the actors to show more diversity, which Deng Wei couldnāt show because of TSJās one-dimensional personality. Also he seemed to be the only ML character who got dubbed, which was especially heavily prominent in emotional scenes. I think real voices make a big difference to portray a role and deliver scenes.
And I gotta be honest. Xiang Liu babe got my heart forever but man⦠Zhang Wan Yi just killed it with his acting as Cang Xuan. While Xiang Liu and Xiao Liu stole the first part of the drama for me, Cang Xuan stole the second part completely haha XD
Just bingewatched all remaining episodes and I loved the ending of ep 39! I guess I will just stop here and save me all the pain from the 2nd part. I'm too fragile for heartbreak and I love CX and XL too much. Part 2 won't do me any good.
I'm really happy and content with this ending! I will just pretend there is no continuation lol
are you still waching it ? I really liked Revenant and I'm looking for something similar ...
No, sadly I dropped it. Maybe I will pick it up again at some point, but at the moment, it's just not my cup of tea. But give it a try yourself. Maybe you will like it :)
This drama is what it is ā a one-time watch for me. While it began on a high note and I initially enjoyed the…
Yes, totally! I enjoyed the first episodes a lot and loved the unique mom/daughter duo. Never would've thought I will hate the mom a little bit more every episode.
But it is, what it is. I'm glad this just has 12 episodes. Otherwise I would've have dropped already.
I gotta stop complaining about the mom. She won't change >_< But I think the writers f***ed her character up. It's okay to be flawed, but a bit of character development would have been better...
At least we got some little Jin Hee & Jae Won progress. But they will obviously be an extreme slowburn. If they even get together, it will be in the last 5 minutes of this drama. Well anyway, I loved their teamwork and the co-workers teamwork. The only scenes I still enjoy in this drama.
And it was pretty clear that that guy was the culprit...Wasn't even surprising.
Well, good for them if they felt it like that :D

I know he said he prefers other genres to star in, but I wish to seem him as a lead in a romance drama once :)
Because the audio on kisskh in not synced and messed up.
