This drama might not be that spectacular, but I'm just really happy and excited while watching it... It's the only airing drama, which I'm watching currently, which is not frustrating, annoying, sad or a chore to watch.
I guess I just can't get over it... I'm starting ep 36 now. Sorry, I can't help but spam my love for XL while binging the rest of the episodes. I always pause with XL's scenes and want to write my feelings down lol
I just love them so much. The relationship built up with XY and XL was just exceptional and their chemistry unmatched. Their scenes are funny, intense, intimate, romantic, magical, adventurous, hopeful, tragic, heartbreaking, flirty and much more… I could write down thousands of adjectives to describe them. If XL would have been "free" how XY would have wished it for him, pursuit her and didn’t push her away, no other ML would’ve stand a chance.
XL is such lonely and tragic character. I have a soft spot for tragic characters like him T-T I'm just sad... ignore me :')
Is there another couple in Dramaland similar to XY and XL's dynamic or relationship? I just love them too much. They would've been such a beautiful, legendary well-written couple T-T
XL doesn't want her to know or to recognize his feelings / sacrifices. He makes quite an effort to ensure that…
Oh god, that is just too heartbreaking for me. I guess I won't continue part 2. It will just break me. His selfless love is so pure... I wish he was more selfish T-T
Just in the mid of ep 33 and I really need to know: Will XY ever know what XL sacrificed for her? Read some comments that she will never know how much he loved her... Is that true? That's just heartbreaking and unfair T-T I think I can't watch this til the end if he's such a tragic character. His selfless love and sacrifice at least deserves her recognition.
TTEOTM already killed me with how tragic they wrote TTJ... I can't survive another one. Why do all the Wuxias that I love turn my fave character into a heartwrenching and tragic character. No Wuxia for me anymore 😭
For real? They found a hearing aid at the murder crime scene and didn't investigate any further? Be it the serial number or DNA, they would've found anything. wtf did the police even do to investigate this case? The writing got so bad, it's unbearable at this point.
And so repetitive with the murderer chasing Eun Mi at the end of almost every episode...
Also the aunt has more interest in her niece than the father in his daughter. I swear this drama went downhill after the father got introduced into the story. I would've dropped this already, but just three eps left, so will just watch it til the end.
Watching this for the 2nd time now and what I absolutely love apart from the story, characters and acting, are the dialogues! Especially the main leads are so witty, snappy and funny. Most romcoms have slap stick comedy, but this one has real witty jokes and comedy. The couple's dynamic is so interesting... wish to see another witty couple like them :D
International fans that always grip on Mangotv for subs should organise themselves like the translators of viki…
Sry, but you're speaking utter bs. If people pay for a service they're allowed to expect decent subs and not machine translated ones. Other platforms have no problem delivering them.
And just fyi Mandarin is one of the hardest languages in the world. You expect everyone to learn every language of shows that they want to watch? Then I'd need to learn every east asian language that there is, because I love east asian dramas, but I just managed to learn Korean til now.
I'm usually not into horror, but I really liked Revenant and people recommended The Guest in the comment section there, so I checked it out. I guess it really depends on what people find scary or more intriguing. I was hooked with Revenant on the first ep, but I'm on ep 3 here and it didn't really hook me yet.
I find the Revenant is more spooky/thriller, while this seems more brutal/massacre like... The "guest" feels more like a zombie than a ghost to me. If someone likes more brutal horror dramas, I guess they would like this more, but I prefer Revenant, which was more a crawling-under-your-skin-horror... and not so "in-your-face" horror... I don't know how to explain, but the people who watched both will know what I mean.
I will watch some more episodes tho, because I really like the cast...
And the reason he had to die was so silly really. Like the FL was saying he could have just gotten up and walked…
Totally agree!
Especially the one where Seol just turned her back on the culprit. I thought she would immediately run into her apartment, but no... she just turned her back to the elevator, stayed at the exact same position even when the culprit just opened the elevator doors again. She had enough time to at least try to run into her apartment. Oh man... the dumb writing is really a mess...
Y'all happy now? The ship war is gonna end at least ha ha ha.... *crying hysterically*
I think I haven't felt this way since the ML of Shut Up Flower Boy Band died in ep 2 suddenly as well... I know that I finished that drama just lots of years after... seems like The First Responders S2 will have the same fate on my watchlist.
I'm actually really baffled. Why wait a year just to give us this kind of outcome in the early episodes? They should've killed him in S1 then, so that we can actually process his death in that one year span.
Judging by preview of ep 4 they gonna make Do Ha replace Do Jin's main lead role... Ridiculous... just ridiculous. Did the writers smell too much gas or what?
I'm not sure if I'm angry or sad... I waited for S2 with a lot of excitement... and feel betrayed >_<
I'm speechless... Can't even finish ep 3. I don't know if I'm able to continue this... I wasn't even a big fan of Dojin, but this drama lost a pretty big dynamic with him, which kinda ruined this for me now. At least it had some light moments in the past... now I can't even comprehend how they're not gonna make it all gloomy, melo and superdark.
If they decided to kill a main lead, then why not do it at the end... my excitement for this season died with Dojin. Gonna put this on hold.
Just started this because I'm excited for Lee Joon Gi in the 2nd season and I'm just at ep 1, but loving it so far. Just curious... is the language the Neanthal are speaking a real language?
Japanese romance dramas really don't show any development in the last decade... still so many plots with this "beauty" or "virgin in her 30s" trope or whatever...
The only Japanese romance drama that I really loved in the last 10 years was First Love: Hatsukoi. They don't make dramas like "Pride" or "Orange Days" anymore and it's sad :(
I'm definitely agree with you 🤭🤭 that's why i hate this nine-heads demon🥺🥺
Pls do something about your reading comprehensions. Bajriva explained why XL asked for something in return. It was a disguise so that he could be able to take XY with him.
Purple ocean ...Just go away. Your hate comments against XL are annoying.

But I only loved Long Ballad out of those three :D
Guess no one compares to XY and XL...😭

And I'm not a native english speaker btw.

I guess the guy from the pc bang is the culprit, but who knows...
