Xue Yao better be protecting her to be mean to her like that freakin ep 29 and 30 got me emo...maybe it’s his plan to save his country and know the truth behind his brothers death. He did say he would use her again if he sees the opportunity...idk this is driving me insane. I hope she turns into a tiger or something and attack Xue Yao lol that’ll probably make me feel better ha!

I was going to say she had to be transformed that’s why he used her to lure XM. Maybe XM witnessed something he shouldn’t have or was at the wrong place at the wrong time. DS probably stole the first part of the book from CY’s dad not knowing there’s a second part to it. CY's dad probably kept the second book with his friend because he knew it can help her and also keeping it away from the king

Man this drama is making me feel all kinds of rollercoaster of emotions...I think Dong Shi was involved in Xue Mu’s death. He probably used Chu Yue to lure Xue Mu out to kill him and try to get the stone but failed. He or his men must have been there when Xue Mu went back inside. A damn highly skilled general can’t just die from inhaling too much smoke like that someone must be behind it all. I think I’m the only one enjoying this drama laughing, crying, being sad, being angry, smile like an idiot when the ML’S are being sweet and cute together, and spazz over Zheng Ye Cheng as general Xue Yao. He looks good in the outfits he wears lol I forget all the flaws because the ML’S chemistry, and I like how the FL isn’t dumb like most FL in cdrama CY is pretty smart and naive (besides not knowing Xue Mu is the guard) that was just ridiculous who can miss a hot general like that.

I couldn’t stop laughing when he threw the pillow at her. He definitely has feelings for her, but his words are harsh and painful at times towards her

I feel like the general is going to hurt her feelings, and I’m going to cry my eyeballs out. I hate how this drama is getting to me. Why must Zheng Ye Cheng look so handsome ancient outfits? He makes my heart flutter.

Yup so that’s why I think it’s the teacher. He did tell the king it took him a while to come back because he was injured.

No the thing the princess brother put on the bell. It’s the last thing the ML brother bought before he died. I say the hooded guy is framing the princess,general, and her brother as well and using the king. The eunuch is probably in on it too that’s why he told the king to have them marry to see if the general is loyal cause the king is scared the general would take his throne. That’s just my theory I’m guessing as I rewatch every episode.

No I meant the princess’s adoptive brother. The adoptive brother is probably being framed by the teacher since they were all in the palace together and the thing that the adoptive brother have to silence the bell on her ankle must have been from the teacher. The teacher knows everything about them.

I wonder if the hooded guy is trying to frame the brother (if it is the teacher) just a thought I have. Though I still Suspect the brother

It’s just my theory I know a bit of mandarin, but it’s very limited. I’m just going by what I can understand. I’m just guessing as I watch each episode. Thanks for clarifying.

I don’t know if the SML is connected to the lady on the ice bed. I think the lady on the ice bed is connected to the teacher that said something will happen to the princess if she turns into all 12 animals. The prince probably really loves his adopted sister and will give her up to the general knowing the general is the only one who makes her happy

I suspected the SML too, but I feel like his feelings are genuine. I still kinda suspect him, but I think he will let the princess be with the general like he’ll let go for her happiness.

I watched it all raw already so I wanted to watch the hard subs to see if my guess is correct. Your theories sound possible and interesting. My only guess is the hooded guy is the teacher. He wants to catch her alive to use her since he knows everything about her sleeping problems, the stone, and her transformations. I wonder if he’s stopping her from seeing something important in her dreams
