I only have IQIYI to watch Chinese dramas. I have Viki for Korean dramas and maybe Chinese and Taiwanese but I usually watch those for free on different website. Viki charges too much and the subs aren’t really accurate in my opinion.

Yes!! I can feel his dark and powerful aura through my phone screen. It excites me. I haven’t seen any of his dramas, but I know about him and saw clips of his other dramas. This drama was the only one that caught my attention.

I think I know why they deleted those hugs and kiss scenes in the previous episodes. They’re just following the novel how their love blossomed there.

I think what attracts me to Xiao Duo’s character is the way Dylan Wang portrays it. The way he walks, sits, holds the teacup and drink teas, plays with the ring on his finger, fights, stares every little things shows he’s dark and powerful. He kinda reminds me of Lu Yi (plays by Allen Ren) in Under The Power. Although they are two different characters, they share the same powerful position. The way Allen Ren walked, fought, sat, and his expression are kinda like Xiao duo’s. (Dylan’s Wangs fighting scenes were a bit better) the two actors were great at showing the dark aura badass side of it while being sweet and gentle.

Awww she made shoes for him in the novel too so sweet glad they kept that part.

I’ve read the novel, and I like the drama. Honestly, the two main leads bring their characters to life. Also the pairing is great in my opinion because they match. He’s famous and handsome she’s simple and pretty (she might not look beautiful as his other costars) but I think they compliment each other well. That’s how I pictured her when I read the novel. Because in the novel, she’s not that popular or as they say not beautiful enough. I’ve never seen any of Dylan Wang’s and Yukee Chen’s drama this is my first drama of theirs.

I don’t believe it either cause it looked too suspicious. I’m sure he’s acting dumb to get to Xiao duo he probably killed Xiao duo to shut him up for finding out his secret blaming the other dudes brother or maybe prince fu had someone poison the late emperor to get Xiao Duo to help him become emperor. Those are all my thoughts and theories

They’re probably making us yearn for it like how he is and show more of it in the later episodes?? I hope they don’t delete all the intimate scenes. Just by looking at their actions, we can already see their feelings are blossoming slowly. We’re gradually being deeply immersed into their feelings as they also realize their love for each other.

She could be related to his death. Maybe the brother got close to the young Yin lou or the brother knew the emperor’s secrets and had him killed him. Irreconcilable conflicts can always occur in a Chinese dramas.

I’m thinking he’s playing dumb to survive and being triggered by his advisor is turning him evil, or maybe it was all a setup to have prince Rong sent to his mansion, so he could get the throne knowing Xiao Duo would do it. Perhaps, he knows Xiao duo’s true identity. What if this whole thing was setup towards Xiao duo 🤔🧐 He’s also using everyone to get Xiao duo 🤨 there must be a reason why he’s the only one left
