╥﹏╥ There is nothing else to watch tho ...
I’ve actually started a lot of Korean and Chinese drama. I only stopped because I saw the picture of Xiao duo and Yin lou hugging on IQIYI app it caught my attention. Then watched the trailer and it got me. I knew I had to watch it.

I recommend bad and crazy if you haven’t watched it. It’s also on Netflix. I’m also watching good detective there are two seasons it’s completed on Netflix. That will keep our minds off of Xiao duo and Yin lou until the 8th. Lol

This drama is driving me crazy. I have to watch something else just to wait for it to completely air. My little heart can’t take the annoying obstacles between them. Where’s the bowl of cherries when you need it

His sword has been struggling as well from being honored respected killing thousands of bad people to being used as skewers, thrown in water at a brothel, to killing a fish scaling and scoring it for cooking.

And the lantern festival is also different in the novel. The emperor never showed up there if i am right. And…
The translation I used didn’t have that part where he fed it to her. She just ask him how it taste and he said sweet and she’s like I’ve never seen or knew someone eating petals or flowers something like that. But that lantern part is correct.

Scenes that were in the novel and is in the drama. Just wanted to put this out for those who complains about this drama and why some things are not making sense

Obviously the main plot former emperor dies and his concubines are to accompany him leading Xiao duo to saving her because prince Fu asked him to, Xiao duo combing empress Rongan’s hair and Yinlou’s hair, Xiao duo and empress Rongan’s relationship, Xiao duo teasing Yinlou (as in touching her chin when he was applying the medicine to her neck which wasn’t in the novel and when he fixed her clothes making sure she dressed properly and threatens to kill her multiple times. In the novel, he teases her verbally like flirting I guess), making her question his actions, Xiao duo and Yinlou’s bickering, Yinluo sees Xiao duo as her benefactor because he saved her and provided her a place to stay, (she never had feelings for him in the beginning she was just thankful to him for saving her life and tries to return the favor by doing what he says and telling him he’s a nice person and that he isn’t cold and scary as everyone sees him to be. She cares for him which slowly turned into love), pear tree (broken into two parts in drama but in novel it all happened at once, and she never shook the tree in the novel the wind blew and the petals fell brushing against her cheeks) the petal fell on her head, and he picked it out putting it to his mouth (he actually ate it in the novel) death of prince Rong (he mysteriously fell of the bed and hit his head in the empress’s mansion), Yinlou throwing up on the boat leading to the acupuncture, Xiao duo kissed Yinlou first (he did it when she was drunk in the novel it also mention he’s a coward for kissing her when she’s drunk and not like her who kissed him when he was awake) she returned the kiss, Yinlou not afraid of showing her love towards Xiao duo, Yinlou making shoes for Xiao duo, Oh and prince Fu is a creeper and pervert in the novel, novel Xiao duo is moretouchy (aggressively hugs and kisses) with her asking her if she hates him or not. He shows it more than drama Xiao duo. They also kiss a lot in the novel after confessing

I tried to list it in order of what happened in the novel. I might have missed some, but I tried.

So, following the novel, will the next episodes have these scenes? Because I watched a C-Drama recently (My Sassy…
Yes that’s why I said I see why they deleted those scenes. I take it as the actual first affection will be more deeper, meaningful, and sweet. You could tell their relationship will struggle in the future episodes, and we all wonder how it’s going to end. And you’re welcome.

Those deleted scenes in the beginning never happened in the novel. They never fell for each other at the start. It was more of being curious of each other finding each other interesting. I’m not sure what will be shown next but so far, most of the sweet scenes from the novel are shown. For instance, he’s the first one to make a move, and she later returned it. Those scenes happened in that order. Her making shoes for him and when he touched her stomach on the boat, that also happened in the novel. There is a part in the novel where he says he’s crazy because she drives him crazy. As we can see, he’s already crazy because of her presence. If that dialogue is important, they probably will keep it in the drama and show it later in the episodes. In the novel, they only started showing their affections after they confessed to each other. I honestly can’t say they will show what's in the novel in the drama.

When in the palace, hair has to be up I’m assuming. When they are out the palace, the hair can be down. Well, that’s what I think.

From what I know, the younger women wear their hair down because they’re unmarried. When their hair is twisted and pinned up, it means they are eligible for marriage. Different dynasties have different styles.

Have you read the novel?
The drama is way different than the novel. They only kept most of the major plots and altered it. It took them quite a while to fall for each other…well more like confess. In the novel, he fell for her at the peach tree. He said so himself. They just changed the order of how it happens so it’s confusing for those viewers watching the drama.
