I hope they show an ending like Hours of My life (Boku no Ita Jikan) they ended that series without giving the sad-fated end. Meaning they closed it with obvious results but we don't get to see that result, and that was more meaningful than any death would be.
I remember when I was in middle of series, Haruma left this world. I delay that series for almost 5 years to avoid my heartbreak and I got a shock of my life.
So I hope they close this series with them standing on shore watching sunset or sunrise....
One of the saddest series was Missing the other side. Whenever bereaved get to know the existence of the soul of their loved ones, the profound sadness and emptiness left me in tears. Specially the daughter of Ahjusshi. And the fiancé of detective, and when he went to meet her over the wall, and could not see her but says those words of regrets, broke me into pieces. The music they played was out of the world. Wish to see season 3 as well.
This one is on the comedy side, but next episode is a direct blow I had guessed the next episode plot tghe moment her grandmother appeared but didn't thought it would be in next episode.
I thought this was 12 episodic series but I wonder what they will show in 16 episodes. It is good as far.

so many memories of 1 litre no Nmaida, that series I myself shed 1 liter of tears and one of my all time faveroute Boku no Ita Jikan, none can surpass these gems and though this one not on that same emotional level but still sad feelings all over.

As soon I see ML I want to punch him in the face and gut, but seeing SFL bargain him make me feel more angry and jalousie for FL. Please don't drag the ML part with 2FL, it is just 12 episodes.
