It was faithful to the original
They stayed faithful to the original script and reduced the toxicity a very little tiny bit. Not sure why the score is so low here lol. People are pretending like the old lakorns aren't worse off in severity and absolute nonsense. That all comes with it. You don't go into an actual lakorn remake and expect 2025 reasoning. They probably expected kisses but you do not go into a truly classic lakorn expecting any kisses lol. That is what then makes the story manageable and sometimes interesting cos you aren't expecting any on screen skinship just off screen all kinds of craziness that move the plot along. My only gripe is the rape parts. It is 2025 for goodness sake. We enjoy domineering and toxic MLs even in 2025...However, even if it is not the ML doing such things, rape even as a concept truly just ruins the entire story. Even if off screen, it should have been intentionally taken out in this version. That is my only gripe. Otherwise, it was pretty much just a retelling of the original. One would need to avoid ALL Thai lakorns if they can't watch this modern rendition.
