i did like yandan x yy's dynamic more. it was just pure love, nothing else. it was very different from other couple dynamics I've seen. i like this bickering too. and damn, i didn't know cheng yi could play such a charismatic and playful character? i'm loving his acting. also, yang zi shines more in playful and smart characters rather than playful damsel characters. she's so fun when she beats people up. but her monologue on the cliff, when she was staggering and pouring her guts out, damn...

the ending though... my yi heon :((

nothing exceptional imo, especially bc of the unethical age gap. character development was the spotlight of this show.

isn't an 18 or even a 20 yo with an almost 50 yo man fuvked up too?? couldn't make this work. plus, i don't get why they picked such a messed up work to adapt or how its readers even enjoy it.

it's a teen drama bro, and i find kdrama acting kinda cringe in general. the acting, the comedy scenes can be cringe but now i'm accepting that that's what it is, kdramas are DRAMA, lol. but it was still pretty cool, especially the first half.

i liked it. and i rated it 9/10, no need to feel hurt. even tho i liked it, i acknowledge that it's cliche and cringe in some aspects. :)

i have watched weak hero. and a few other school violence based kdramas too. as a disclaimer, i do not live in south korea so of course i can only speak from what I've heard and raid. and while it IS fiction at the end of the day, especially if based on a webtoon, i don't think it's too unrealistic to say that teachers would ignore such violence. because I've heard that teachers actually don't have much power there to punish or interference in student matters? and thst laws for minors are pretty lenient too. this is all from what I've heard and read haha, can't really provide evidence. but shit's messed up there, i won't question it too much hearing all these crazy school violence cases.

just the surface archetype, rest is all pretty different, as well as the vibe. weak hero is a tragedy, this is a comedy fairytale.

in south Korea's reality where school violence is an actual thing. :)
