only if they didn't play that heroic music every 2 seconds and the characters showed a bit of anxiety/fear while doing these dangerous things I'd like the drama better.
Mature ? Pretty much all the characters act like 12y/o, honestly don't know how ppl like these kinds of drama,…
Its called difference in taste. And I meant mature in the sense of college dramas in comparison to high school centered ones, not dear m in particular. But I also do think that dear m did a good job of portraying fresh 20 year olds.
I'm wondering if there was a time when Moon Joon ever liked Jooah. Of course there's the kiss and "that's a relief" when Minho said he didn't like Jooah... but then all that mess in the end. He has been the most confusing character. Is he supposed to be a playboy or what.
I wish there were more kdramas based around college life. They focus a lot on high school centered dramas, half of that could easily go on to make soft + mature college romance dramas like this one.
About present Heedo forgetting the beach trip, I feel it can also be that she really just forgot about it since…
Same. I think she'd have remembered that one beach trip (and in detail) if it was the ONLY memory she had made with her friends (especially yijin) but because she got to make many more, that trip became one of the many.
I'd like to point out that Yijin's confession was "I'm in love with you" and not just an I love you yes thx bye until ep 11 drops hopefully no tears are shed then!
I am not satisfied with netflix’s translation though. Can someone tell me the exact words of Hee Do at the end…
Do you mean the "I need to have you" part? The literal translation is correct but if it was spoken in English it'd probably be along the lines of "I think I need you" that's the closest we can get in terms depicting the weight of heedo's actual words.
In ep.4 Yijin's brother (Yihyun) says in reference to their aunt getting their sports car under her name: "In the future when you get a child you can do the same too" (Ask Yihyun to take care of the child while also adding a sports car under his name lol)
I could be pushing it but from my kdrama experience I think there's some sorta hint in those words.
There's no way the writer would develop a relationship so beautifully just to end it with them apart. Ya girl's gonna believe till the end of time that heejin are indeed our endgame theres no other way out.
Unlike many I liked Jisoo's acting, different to many idol-actor rookies she knows what she's doing. Her character tho, is gonna go down as the most poorly written character ever BUT as this is her first role, I would say its okay. Actor debuts rarely start with the strongest most bedazzling characters.
The romance tho.....IT MAKES NO DAMN SENSE -- it would if our main couple had been together for long, gone through various ups and downs of life together and then ended up in this situation where Yeongro finds out the truth. Even then it shouldn't be more than occasional and situational worry. Doesn't matter if Sooho had a change of heart later, just seeing the spy side of him would have made my tummy churn.
He said he as a affection on CP... AFFECTION!!.. it can't define exactly as love... it's a affection
Back in the day, the word "sarang" which in modern korean means "love" wasn't used. The word "yeonmo" which is today used for "affection" was used then to say someone that they love them. Other historical dramas too use the word to depict their character's feelings of more than just simply liking someone.
But I also do think that dear m did a good job of portraying fresh 20 year olds.
