I am glad that I am not the only one who thinks that Ohm is suspicious. Just like you, I respect his professionalism, though. I loved his performance in He's Coming to Me, and to my knowledge, he has not said anything homophobic in public. Although I would not like to support a homophobic person, he is entitled to his private views if he has those.

This is not directly related to the topic in discussion, but more to your comment, but I feel like I need to say it. One of the reasons why I like watching this series is that I believe that First is a good person. A really good person. I tend to look at celebrities realistically, and even when I am trying to ignore it for the sake of enjoying a series, for instance, I still see through many actors' insincerity, which often spoils everything for me. This is why I am surprised to say that when I am watching First, in a series or in real life, I do not detect a whiff of insincerity. He is genuine, as you pointed out, which is not only absolutely beautiful, but also might be one of the reasons for his brilliant acting. Whether he is straight or queer, he embraces his characters for who they are. He understands and sympathizes with Akk. He strikes me as a truly precious person, which, as much as I do not want to accept it, is a rare thing in the entertainment industry.
On a side not, I am starting to believe the same about Khaotung. From what I have seen of him, he is also a genuinely kind person. The fact that he is friends with First is also telling.

This is why the acting often strikes me as insincere. The BL actors whose performances I like are always the ones that are not known to have made any homophobic comments.

I have not watched To My Star, but, with all due respect to the fans, I really do not understand why Bad Buddy is so popular. I found it clichéd almost from the beginning.

There also are complaints about Jimmy's acting. With those, I disagree. His acting is not flawless, but viewers who say that he is not an actor are too harsh. I did not like his performance in Bad Buddy, but he is doing great in this series. I see improvement. There is even something addictive about him and his voice. I have seen actors' being praised for acting that was worse than Jimmy's.

I also started it after reading a lot of negative comments, and I am enjoying it more than I thought that I would. However, it was marketed as a science fiction story, and the alternate-universe plot is highly underdeveloped, so the viewers who expected this drama to deliver on its promises are disappointed.

Indeed! I also tend to skip parts, but I have not skipped a second of this series. Furthermore, I rewatch episodes while waiting for the new one. I almost never rewatch series.
