Seriously, I never heard anything more stupid than taking college lessons about "love". LOL what an education. On the other hand, the way the professor "teaches" it just like any other subject, it shows how stupid many actual subjects in colleges may be.
really cute, easy watch.u can watch all episode compiled on youtube(3hours).
who would want to watch the same show for 3 hours  many people don't get episodes exist for a reason:) and I say, enjoy it.. always prefer dramas to movies.
Despite the premise, which many might find off-putting, this is definitely worth watching for Jun Matsumoto, joking aside, he's really interesting to watch. After appearing on HYD, this made me understand where he did come from as an actor (he was probably also a dancer). The main actress is VERY beautiful and despite this show being dated, I liked how she dressed.
The episodes felt so short. There could definitely be more. Especially about the relationship we found the most captivating. After episode 6, I would appreciate if characters like Hasumi, Fukushima, or even the crazy therapist stepped back into the background. We have Takeshi's mother only shortly for 1 episode, and it's still more entertaining than any of that. Suzuki Sarina was very cute in her best friend role, though honestly her scenes toned the drama down every time we had a restrospective talk instead of more action.
The final felt a bit flat, on one hand, there was not enough time for the main two, because we had to deal with so many side characters and give them some kind of ending as well, and when it did come to the mains we still dealt with the "love triangle", which was by then way past my interest. Overall it was not fully romantically satisfying but it was cute.
So, I'm not interested to see the remake done 14 years later. Knowing already the limits this kind of romance has to offer, I understand that it only shall be "cleaner" and "less toxic" version of the same, which does not interest me. Jun Matsumoto is also replaced by someone who's not interesting.
Hmm.. Suzuki Jin is sooo adorable and cute in this one.. And attractive, too: despite being only 20.. He does have age gap with the main woman (she wears thin eyebrows, which somehow makes her look even older), then again, the "suitable" man she has her arranged meeting with has the same age gap from her. Her age is precisely in the middle between the two men.
Really liked this one and it’s one of the recent jdramas that I actually enjoyed. Sweet and simple story. I…
Yeah, I also kept waiting.. On one hand, I did NOT miss any of the corny elements you mentioned. On the other hand, it DID feel suspicious that the perfect, handsome guy showed up from nowhere and loved the main girl instantly. You WOULD expect something hidden LOL
Watched about 5 eps of this and decided to look at the cast and the ML is born in 2000?? if this was released…
Exactly. Considering that he was 19 he did a good job LOL But it does explain why his onscreen wife looks somehow weird with him. She is considerably older.. Or he is considerably younger than the role.. In epi 5 where he talks about his ex whom he dated 5 years back.. He'd have to be 14, then:) So, the role is definitely older.
Episode 1, Minute 3 of the drama: Wow, Jung Sang Hoon from 'High-End Crush'! My thoughts all the following minutes: I must re-watch 'High-End Crush'! I must re-watch 'High-End Crush'! LOL (sorry but I already watched 'Hirugao' so I didn't have to pay that much attention to the story anyways lol)
Okay, seriously. The story was banal even in the original, let alone for typical k-drama runtime boosted re-watch, but at least there was the attractive, HOT cast (like Saitoh Takumi!! who did mind his boring small town teacher character, if he looked like Saitoh Takumi?:), which is not present, here. I'm sorry, but Ye Ji Won is 46 and looks even older: the japanese original married mother of two was a hottie (and younger than her rich husband, obviously.. that no longer applies, in this adaptation). As for the main female lead, she is also less pretty, her looks are extremely generic and she doesn't have the soft, vulnerable face, at least. Leading guy has the typical half-feminine look of a korean "attractive male" which serves to naturally dim the hotness even with those who ARE attractive. Plus of course, his looks suffer from THE immortal stupid haircut. The already mentioned Jung Sang Hoon is too fun for the meek character role. Jo Dong Hyuk is bearable ONLY thanks to that the role required him not cut & shave. Else, it's just Kim Mi Kyung's mother-in-law who gives you exactly the same vibe, like she'd jump here straight from the original. But all this is just superficial. If you come from j-drama, you might complain that you don't feel the heat but, if you swim in k-dramas you need not worry. You're exactly where you're used to being, lol.
I'm at 1/2 of it and can't help it being spoiled for me by the disappointment after I heard that they won't kiss.. ever. Wait. Won't they kiss even in either of the 2 sequels?
Okay, so here is probably the MOST UNDERRATED dorama I have ever seen so far. I am glad I always check out doramas…
Well it ends on them woving they'll remain friends. I don't really consider this "girl love" as they don't really have sexual relationship, but they don't shy from the aspect, either. Some things might look "hentai" but they're okay among real friends. And their conversations often seem like this drama (I won't use the dated term dorama) was actually intended to be kind of educational, lol.
On episode 5... Looks like same sappy whiny "boy love" as any other, just "spiced"up with one of the guys needing to use toys in bed to get it up (sorry, I honestly don't understand bdsm, I'm afraid I find it comical more than anything else) or wear some stupid huge tattoo. Guy like him would not survive 1 day in real "mafia"... But who cares about the mafia plot here, really;-) Just make him some eccentric gay millionaire who needs to be accompanied by 10 bodyguards everywhere he goes including toilet, result is the same:-) Without insulting the mafia genre in an attempt to make this fluff look "darker"... Episode 5/12 and we saw enough bed scenes so I'm already fastforwarding (it's not like I care whether they all die or not). I'm afraid I can't keep having a blast just because I watch a show that's bad, like the top reviewer here. EDiT: DROPPED during episode 6, even despite watching the best un-cut version from GagaOOLala. In general, after the years my patience with thai trash production has run out and it's no longer even pirotesque for me and I no longer even laugh how bad it is because after all those thai show I watched I would have to be dead from laughter by now. Watching 'Unforgotten Night' as a viewer I am today... I'm afraid I would drop even porn version of this. Enough said!!! LOL
I can see why this is compared to 'Cofee & Vanilla' in Recommendations.. It's one of those shows where you're supposed to take everything at face value and where handsome guy comes out of nowhere and sweeps the main girl off her feet: never once you should doubt where his "love" for a total stranger comes from. You just need to accept it as it is... Screw relationship development, or characters actually getting close, before getting together. The runtime is so short there's no time for any of it, anyways. They give us loads of cutesy and skinshippy scenes of the couple, only pitty they didn't make us care about the couple, first.
Opened 6th episode knowing there's just 2 left, AND short runtimed. And you know what? I'm not interested. To drop a series at 6/7, it speaks about its "quality" best....................
Maybe for you kiss is everything not for me....the plot and the chemistry and the growth the characters had is…
Yeah, the straight cast probably refused to do it. EDiT: Hmmmm... Somehow ceased to care whether they kiss because I got bored with the show in the middle.. I'm no longer excited about the main couple, after all we learned ALL their thoughts. What's left, now? I'm at epi 10, where they went on a (rehearse) date, where Adachi seems like he won't survive the date unless he immediatelly uses his power and learns Kurosawa's thoughts.. A few moments later, he laments that he can't date him with his power.. Gee, easy solution, sleep with him, mind-reading gone LOL This is getting boring. Asaka Kodai is like from a parody, too cringey to watch. I don't feel like this is the best BL of all time, or the biggest gem of my life LOL I'll watch the 2 remaining episodes - overall it IS cute and the characters are super likeable - but not the sequels. I got bored the second they got together.
