spunkless

I am really near to dropping this... it's giving nothing!! lol it's like a school group project and only one guy is taking it seriously (the guy playing Woohyeon)

I am glad someone else noticed. He's really channeling Gun Atthaphan

honestly it could have been good. but terrible writing rears its ugly head in the later episodes. you could just tell they're running out of money and decided to wrap it up quick. The actor playing Gangjae carried it with his impeccable comedic timing. He reminded me of Abe Aran in I Became the Main Role in a BL Drama. Sadly the secondary characters were not utilized that well. JaeJun and Jihan have their own fandom, I wonder why they didn't give them more substantial roles... even in some episodes these two go completely MIA.

All in all it's a good waste of time I guess, but likely will not be remembered in the annals of BL dramas

I've avoided Thai BLs for a long time, I find them very long yet nothing of value is actually happening, yet I decided to check this out since I was intrigued by the clips I'm seeing on Twitter. Gelboys carries itself with a unique style, it's truly a visual spectacle from the production design to the costumes, editing, and cinematography. Great performances all around, with New and Leon standing out. Though I have to admit sometimes I get a bit frustrated by how the story is moving, these boys just hurt, forgive, only to hurt each other again, and you really can't tell what they actually want from each other (except for Bua, which I think was the most levelheaded character among the four). Still it was a very unique experience. At present I'm not 100% onboard with the idea of a Season 2 because I can't imagine how they would continue it. I guess it's going to be another drama rollercoaster and I don't think I have the stomach to go through that ride again lol

I wouldn't dig that deep lol. I think he's just inexperienced.

Now that you mentioned "off", CJH kinda resembles Gun Atp sometimes lol. But that's just me.

hyukjoon is actually a model, after Blueming he resumed modeling.

if there's one character in this drama that can be compared with Fujisawa, it's Jaemin, not Suhyeon

if I'm not mistaken, Hoyoung (Jaemin) is in the same agency as Lee Sun (Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo) and Lee Gwanghee (Love Class S2)

What's the name of the studio that made this, anyone know? I am pretty sure they're also behind the other Taiwanese bangers Be Loved in House (2021), Plus and Minus (2022), and Kiseki: Dear to Me (2023).

idk why but it's giving Happy Ending Romance + When It Rains, It Pours + Jazz for Two. It's like they took all of the characters from these BLs and put them in the same show together lol

Yasss preach! I would rather keep my judgments to myself until we see the whole picture!

I'm a sucker for some good eye acting, and Hiroki Matsumoto (Fujisawa) was on another level! From eps 1 to 6 his eyes sparked with kindness, then turned cold, then turned sinister. I didn't find his performance in Sahara-sensei and Toki-kun remotely interesting so I was taken aback by his exceptional work in this drama.

oh my the rating is 8.2 now. it started out at 7.6 and then slowly climbed up. I hope the rest of the eps don't ruin the momentum.

Exactly! He projects his clean-cut, professional image but deep inside he's so sick! Sei needs to get over him and dump his ass!

omg I wasn't talking about reality, where did that even come from 😭I was only speaking about Sei and Hagi, two fictional characters

I know cheating plots are a big NO to BL fans, but I think Sei and Hagi deserve a pass lol. Sei's roommate is emotionally manipulative (I swear there is something reallyt wrong with that guy!) and Hagi's GF is disgusted with his presence but can't say it outright.

Seated for Secret Relationship, mainly because of him. He looks so much like Son Woohyeon (Kang Seojoon in To My Star).

Did they ever release a fullscreen version of this? I am seeing clips on Twitter

just started this without any expectations. and I'm loving it! it's JBL-level of bonkers!
I also noticed that the leading man is missing from the cast list lol. someone needs to add him

I can't believe Miseinen and See Your Love --- two solid BLs --- ended at the same time. The bar has been set really high for the next few BLs to follow. If they ended up as absolute stinkers, I bet people would be very unforgiving.
