I'm like on ep 6/7 and it's unbearably boring. In the beginning, the forced interaction between the FL and ML, imposed by her brother is just eh. and her brother keeps on praising him so much, for no reason. then he (brother) continues to force all of future interactions between them simply because the plot needs him to do that.

meanwhile the main characters have minimal chemistry and r just so awkward with eachother.... im not seeing any sparks or anything. most of episodes r them either sending eachother boring messages or just exchanging a few words, once again feeling all awkward.

otherwise, the whole billiards/pool plot... eh. snoozefest. at least we get funny interactions with finish ppl as they have no choice but to follow the weird sounding English script.

this series reminds me a bit of mysterious love because in both cases we r supposed to believe that the main character's r very in love with eachother and all, but then we only see an awkward 1st tinder date kinda interaction.

the more I attempt to watch Romance C Dramas, the more I get disappointed. the only good ones so far are Hidden Love, when I fly towards you and back to Seventeen.

this is EXACTLY how I felt. my god... esp since we came out if pandemic yeah, remember how stressful it was in the beginning? ppl were disinfecting their groceries for gods sake.... that shitty ass stunt from a FL with that fake bite ... my god was this an awful scene. from that point on, the FL established her self as a righteous dumb asshole and there was no going back. I should have dropped there but watched til lock down, where shit just hot the fan .... meh

I really want to know what Korean media is saying about this cuz internationally, doesnt seem like it did well...

but eve if its made for the local audience, it romanticises some dangerous situations, which is concerning no matter the country...

I really like taiwanese bls. They dont seem to be high budget but the story line is there and actors are doing a great job most of the time. You get some spicy scenes but also gentle romance . Its like half way between korean bls and thai bls. Cannot say the same for their usual series with straight couples. Yes im talking about Before We Get Married cuz that series is worse than a 2009 kdrama where the ML harasses a poor (literally) girl into dating him

this is basically what I thought right before dropping it. ML is insufferable but I like the actual psychopath. the actor there ia good.

I was thinking of watching this drama cuz LJW is here, but my god.... the comments.... now i wanna watch it cuz apparently its a big dumpster fire with a shitty fl. amazing.

this is actually wayy more interesting than i expected. and pavels acting is really good, given that he doesnt have much experience.

i was excited to see what they would do here cuz the source material (the webtoon) is sooooooo mediocre.... but by the looks of it, it might never come out even if the filming is all done ;,,(

i should have waited til it finished to watch it...... its so hard to wait til the next episode ......

as others have said - the plot is meh, acting is meh and chemistry between the leads is also... meh. the actors couldn't even convince themselves that they liked eachother, not mentioning us as the audience.

also, as someone below has said, the FL is neither quirky or adorable. and the ML doesn't seem to possess neither high EQ or IQ. dropped after ep 7

Idk... for me it's like if an actor cries but without tears. Unless there were scenes where they showed effection to eachother (not the awkward hug kind) then sure. But I don't think it's the case...

this is mid. each episode they try to hint at someone else for being the main killer. the hat which is passed on to everyone, the book which seemed so important at first, lost its meaning after pointing its finger at that annoying girl.


all the twists r done not for the purpose of the story but only for us not to guess who it it straight away.

and the episode where both of the main characters decided to share what they were up to in the past and whats their deal. jesus christ they talked like a cross word puzzle. like

FL - oh I guess we need to share why I know this and it is no coincidence that we met
ML - what is this important thing u want to share
FL - Well it explains why I know what happens
ML - explain to me what happens then
FL - yeah of c I know it's written in this
ML - what's this?
FL - well it explains that it's no coincidence that we met.


and many conversations like that. rather than sounding like an actual dialogue, the script is written to "keep the viewer guessing" but it also clearly assumes that the viewer is an idiot.

I'm on ep 7 and it's a draaaaaaag. dad is somewhat interesting while mom is a big doormat and mop. her feeling sad that her daughter grew up and isn't dancing the rabbit whatever song everyday. how can I sympathise with that? kids grow up and it's ridiculous to expect them to stay the same. her actions scream pathetic with no promise for growth. and her interactions with the daughter r just eh... also a skip.

also, as someone mentioned before, zero chemistry between the mains.


so in conclusion, the plot had a lot of promise but in the end it just became a mediocre crime mystery with time travel.


reminded me a bit of mouse where the writers did eeeeeeverything to make it impossible to guess who was the killer by forcing innocent characters to act as if they were guilty, resulting in plot holes and errors in continuity.

I like the set up and all, but.... this series makes me realise why I don't watch Japanese dramas. not a single woman with a decent personality.... and their clothes, my god. its so clear that a man directed this series. all the characters have different wardrobe changes throughout the series except for one. yeah, I'm talking about the girl in low rise jeans and a bikini top. however, that's the only clothes that are allowed for a female character with a "badass" personality trait assigned.


the FL is at least dressed appropriately for the situation, comfortable sports clothes, but she's was assigned a "shy" personality so even in a situation of life and death, she will be more worried about holding a guys hand than her own life cuz of c...


I just finished a jack of hearts episode and oh boy was it just.... sad. in the end men were the smartest ones who saved the day meanwhile the woman who lasted the longest wasn't even allowed to take off her heels. Guess death is honestly the best outcome in her case cuz being someone's puppet and wearing heels and a suit 24/7 is a way worse punishment and this is all writers had in stored for her.


and thats the theme throughout the series. male characters have appropriate clothes, are smart and able to beat the game meanwhile the female characters.... they r ridiculously dressed, have backwards priorities, r pathetic most of the time and don't actually add much. as long as they show their boobs and ass I guess.


the only "smart" female character had to wear tight short shorts with a tank top to compensate for being somewhat "smart".


so while the set up is really interesting and male characters r interesting to watch, it's hard to not get distracted by scenes where women make the stupidest decisions or when they just have to run in heels, tight skirt and some tight top. just by looking at the actresses u can tell that they r uncomfortable as hell but director said more boobs and theres nothing they can do.


Or where a girl is so consumed by attraction to some man, that she's incapable of common sense and self preservation.


and fair enough, common sense is not so common I guess but why are only men allowed to have it in this series?

u describing the side characters stories that I skipped cuz I couldn't care less for them showed that I didn't missed out on much.... none of them seemed likeable and none of them even seems hateful enough to stay memorable. just.... water tbh.

Good to know I wasn't the only one who skipped all the soldier and shelter scenes.... they were boring and the ML didn't even appear.....

uff glad I'm not the only one who thought that way.... this was not it at all...
