this new trend for s2 in kdramas needs to go away. adding additional 2-4 eps , sure. another season? I'm yet to see when it's actually good.

I thought there will be a lot of moral dillema kinda thing. what should u vote for etc. and how does it effect police. like, I expected sth special based on the description but in the end it was just another series about police investigation, only here they r haunting for a serial killer that is killing guilty people. the set up was interesting only to be ruined by mediocre development. idk maybe it gets better in the end but for now its on the paused list.

the confrontational scene at the end of ep 5 and beginning of ep 6, did it feel off to anyone ? like when ji Yong was giving his speech to cho heon about why he's doing this, the whole interaction just felt like he was being foolish and the big cop couldnt care less for what he had to say, just wanted to fight him so ji yong listens to him and becomes his peppet .
I thought that this scene was supposed to carry the pain mixed with "rightness" from ji yong. he is doing sth bad and is justifying it with his pain.
meanwhile, cho heon is a guy who seems to believe the system and is suddenly confronted with this new reality. even if he didn't care for what ji yong had to say, he still should have been portrayed as someone naive, who follows the system thinking that its the right thing. but the vibe I got is just arrogance and anger (caused by "how dare he be annoying" thought, not "hmm maybe theres some truth to his words" thought.
idk, feels like the scene should have been more impactful than it was and sth was missing.

finally it's coming out. I remember looking up different actors and many of them had a role here. hopefully this is not the case where they have a star cast but subpar writing....
not my cup of tea... feels like it lost focus along the way. who is in the center of the story ? the parents or their children? the children's story was left incredibly under developped and parents flashback story was forced in in the middle, what felt like an inappropriate timing. Also the 3 main characters don't really get many scenes together, only Bong Seok and Hee Soo interacted a lot, leaving out Kang Hoon. and when u think this story is finally started to progress, there's a flashback.
for like 4-5 episodes, we watch a back story of each parent, with some details that aren't really important to the main story. when we return back, the main issue is kinda resolved and the children r not important anymore.... so, why waste time on their character development for like 10-14 episodes ?
final episodes r just a quick wrap of everything. Bong seok learnt how to fly very easily and became some weird superhero, which was not hinted at anywhere in the story....and for the rest, nothing really changed. just School as usual.

man this series was a rollercoaster.... amazing acting from all the actors. everyone just shines here... the pacing is good, except in the beginning the FL is a bit annoying but she quickly finds her place in the series and becomes an important character.
the romance is also well done. it doesn't take away from the main story but also reminds u that the ML is 18.
but the last 4 episodes.. I couldnt stop crying. but it all makes sense. reality is harsh and the only thing you can do is accept it and make the most of it. 10/10. now I'm back to my kdrama slump cuz idk what would top this....
wow. I started it, knowing that there will b many red flags and questionable actions but still... the guy is straight up harassing the FL. like proper harassment. not the "sexy" or "spicy" kind. from constantly calling her, following her, ignoring her when she asks him to leave, to straight up physical harassment - tying her to a bed with handcuffs (the scene gave me so much anxiety cuz she clearly just wanted to leave and he was like HA HA now u can't leave and can't tell ur fiance about this cuz he will think u r cheating) and picking her up and putting her on the edge of a balcony so she has to hold him not to fall. and the last one he was like "oh let me show u what a real pervet is like" and endangers her life. wow. I'm done and I'm quitting.

I also found this drama very boring. like yeah, funny moments but eh... most romantic scenes seem childish and even when she is trying to be more "provocative" it's kinda.... childish again. I wish the writers made her to have "game". say things that r not necessarily suggestive but in the context they r and make the ML uncomfortable, scared, flustered. but in the end he found it amusing and she's a laughing stock....
apart from that, it's ur typical business romance drama. not much different than What's wrong with Secretary Kim or any other like that. doesn't add anything new.... writing is OK.... so yeah. it has all the ingredients for a boring drama if u have seen any other Korean ceo - Secretary (worker) drama.

L&P, u mean lighter and princess ? if so, yeah I agree. HL shows characters, that are 3 dimensional and grow throughout the series, and their relationships, which are youthful and also mature.
both, ML and FL have times when they act like children a bit, having fun with their new relationship, but then when needed they act like adults. and this balance is great.
meanwhile in L&P the FL is unbearable and for whatever reason ML decides to tolerate her. I dropped after ep 7 I think, she's way too annoying and doesn't have what it takes to be the main character, no matter how much she tries....
I read the original webtoon this is based on and enjoyed it a lot. so I was happy to c that there was gonna b a series adaptation. half way thru, I noticed some inconsistencies with the webtoon story, the whole thing where ppl around the FL get sick once they know she remembers her past lives. wth? and I've read some spoilers that in the end she forgets all of her lives and live on? wth as well? idk knowing that, this story became some basic childhood friends to lovers story with the extra steps of reincarnation. the tango this is cringe as well... idk. wish they stuck to the source material. 6/10 cuz first 5 ep were decent and then.... down hill. dropping on ep 7

Struggling to continue watching after Myung Hee asked the ML to marry her friend instead of her, even when both of them seemed to like eachother. Like....whyyyyyyyyy. even given the situation it just seems like a pathetic "I'm gonna sacrifies myself for whatever just cuz I want to feel sad" move. Ah that moment just made me mad. Up until then, it was ok.
idk if this just isn't my kind of drama or if I'm missing sth. I've finished ep4 and am not sure I wanna continue. At the beginning when the FL was being quarantined, it was so frustrating that she didn't take anything seriously. when they found out that it was basically become an epidemic, she just couldn't contain herself, judging Han tae seok for not telling everyone straight away about it and for poorly treating the people who r fully sick. like fair enough, sticking them in a freezer truck is bad but what is an alternative? she's complaining about this but she cannot propose a solution. she only has her self righteousness but lacks the ability to take logical action. And thats all, seeming kinda 2 dimensional and unreasonable.
meanwhile the ML hasn't left any strong impressions, and for now he's just following/agreeing with the FL, not bringing much value.
