this is beautiful and I wonder whether I'll ever get over this drama. tried watching our secret, with the same ML, but it was incredibly mid. the chemistry here is amazing!!

Man I dropped it so quick. Everyone is just unbearable..... how is the rating 8? How are there so many episodes? Why is Ahn Jae Hyun always playing in such terrible shows ? (I mean... Cinderella and four Knights is easily one of the worst shows I have ever seen) and finally, why does this series feel like a 2004 kdrama? We r in 2023 btw...

they changed the story for the first part a bit, for example in the webtoon soo ho doesn't know how to fight. so im HOPING that they also change the second part and soo ho appears there. it won't be the same without him.....

but in the webtoon he only apears in flashbacks (basically the setting for class 1)

he thought he did. the deal was that his father doesn't hit the younger brother while the older brother does whatever they want him to do (go snu, do whatever degree etc). however, the parents didn't hold their end of the deal and the father still hit the younger brother, just in secret from the older one. that's y once the older brother found out, he was angry cuz he thought he saved his lil bro from abuse.

because he didn't do what they (parents) wanted him to do and thus was deemed a failure. but the older son went to the uni they wanted and did the major they wanted so he was the favourite son

Do they ever say who was the father of Shi ho's baby? Seems like she suddenly became pregnant out of nowhere ...

Ok but Rowoon is honestly the most gorgeous man I have ever seen in my life. Just. Wow.

It's so sad when there's a solid drama but then they force those products in.... and not even low key...

Before i couldn't even notice the placement since I dont read korean nor do I know their brands but here... so obvious........ hopefully in the future it doesn't deteriorate further and become, as you said, thai dramas..

I know that kdramas can't exist without product placement but oh my god... this drama is so great but the product placement made it a bit hard to watch and nearly ruined it in my opinion...

From normal make up, cars and samsung placement, they added so much on top. So many cafes, new phones each ep, Samsung laptop ad which is so.... eh.... (the damn scene was as cringy as it gets),earphones, contact lenses (I wanted to die when watching that scene cuz the idea of someone touching my eyeballs feels like a violation or sth), actually the whole eye checking thing, the running app ... UGGHHH

Also, I get it, chicken is delicious from whatever brand u presented. Sure. But once again, scenes felt so forced and unnatural.... yeah just let me put this box so far out of my reach so yall can see the brand.... cmon

If they suddenly started eating kimchi in a car and talking about this "amazing" make up for too long, this would have been another King the eternal monarch.

Otherwise drama is great. Just wish there was less product placement, esp when it's so forced.....

it aged so bad.... watching this was.. something. One scene literally can be considered abuse.... but i guess back in the day this was THE drama... but today, nope, a BIG nope

Im still watching the show (on ep 7) but so far 99% of things that r happening to her, losing her parents and all those problems in the palace, all of that she brought upon herself so its really hard to feel bad for her. I wish they would have kicked her out when she tried breaking into the royal kitchen as soon as she moved into palace but then there wouldnt be this series.... hope this feeling changes later on....
