It is based of a novel. In the novel, they don't break up and there's a mini love triangle with the crown prince…
okay thanks

I get you 😭 Most dramas have ML subordinate who actually supports the MC
I know but there’s that one drama in particular that I can remember 😭
On Coroner's Diary Jul 18, 2025
Bai Feng is so cute and funny 😂😂
he make me think of another guard/general from another drama ,where same the close guard of ml kept interrupting the leads in their intimate moments but I can’t remember which drama😭😭
On Coroner's Diary Jul 15, 2025

when she went back to change the past , it created a new timeline a ,new future but the present where she came from doesn’t change.

Let say , she from timeline 1 , she goes back in the past and change it ,this action creates timeline 2 parallel to timeline 1 . She goes back to her owns timeline ( timeline 1 a.k.a the present where she came from)

“Out of the primordial chaos rose two forces; hatred is but love taken to its extreme.”This quote at the ending…
That's why I love watching C-drama most of the time there's a life lesson behind it.

“Out of the primordial chaos rose two forces; hatred is but love taken to its extreme.”

This quote at the ending captures the very soul of Feud. From the beginning of existence before order or light two powerful forces emerged: love and hatred. But this drama shows us that those forces aren’t true opposites. In fact, hatred is often born from love that was wounded, betrayed, or never got the chance to heal.

This line is a quiet warning: the more deeply you love, the more devastating the fallout when that love turns to pain. BJS and the FL weren’t just feuding they were two broken hearts lashing out, still tethered by a love neither of them could fully let go of.

Their hatred wasn’t cold it was burning, because it still came from a place of emotion. The villain may have pulled the strings, but their downfall wasn’t rooted in malice. It was born from hurt, silence, miscommunication, and love twisted into fury.

In the end, their story wasn’t about revenge. It was about forgiveness, loss, and the terrifying beauty of letting go.

That’s why I believe that regardless of how much the FL wanted to kill the ML
she was never truly going to do it. What she really wanted was for him to feel the pain she went through, to make him experience the depth of her suffering.

Her hatred came from a place of deep love. She wasn’t indifferent she was hurting. And despite having multiple chances to kill him directly, she hesitated every single time. That hesitation speaks volumes about her true intentions.

• You can forgive without forgetting.
Forgiveness doesn’t mean pretending the pain never happened. It means choosing not to let that pain keep ruling your heart.

• Letting go is an act of strength.
Both BJS and the FL carried the past like armor and in doing so, they kept wounding each other. But only when they let it go did they start to truly heal.

• Moving on isn’t betrayal.
Holding onto resentment doesn’t protect love it poisons it. There’s a point where you either let go, or lose everything trying to control what’s already gone.

Episode 27......🥲🥲
I'm rewatching it again, and I had previously made a comment calculating how many lightning bolts BJS endured as punishment over those 10 years. Someone replied saying that time in the Heavenly Realm doesn't flow the same as in the Mortal Realm.

But while rewatching episode 27, it was clearly stated that time flows the same in both realms so my math was accurate 🫠.

99 bolts per day × 365 days = 36,135 bolts per year × 10 years = 361,350 bolts.
BJS endured a total of 361,350 lightning bolts, without ever complaining or telling anyone all for the FL’s mistake 🫠.

The FL was punished for her actions, and BJS took the punishment to protect her. Officially, since they needed someone to blame, it was said that BJS “killed the dragon.” Unofficially, he sealed her powers so that Heaven wouldn’t punish her directly. But things still went south for her because someone was pulling the strings behind the scenes.

All she could see was red, so she blamed everything on BJS. Meanwhile, BJS was completely in the dark he had no way of knowing what she had gone through.

It’s heartbreaking… the fact that they both kept the truth from each other, and had to learn what the other endured from someone else instead 😭😭😭😭😭😭

is this a good drama to watch? What's the link for novel? Which should I do first read the novel or watch this…
yes , it very lighthearted,no big plot twist or dramatic misunderstanding. I would recommend watch this first.
I think it more easier , after watching ,I read the novel and I did not regret. It’s was easier for me to imagine the characters while reading it. also , some characters of the novel are not in the drama and some of the events were change in the drama do make it fit in the 30 episodes but nothing too big. Also novel is more spicy .🤭😩🤣.

here the link for the English translation of the novel, I don’t speak mandarin so I’m not sure if the translation is 100% accurate but it look pretty decent to me and didn’t have trouble to understand.

I was discouraged by the rating, but this drama is great! A lot of very fresh themes and approaches for those…
don’t trust MDL ratings too much , they are often misleading 😅😅
