1- what is wrong with the ratings? 2- What’s the deal with Ml looks ? He look fine . 3- People need to learn to stop comparing actors and dramas that has nothing to do with each others.

Agree , I initially asked one question and if it's a romance drama. , I didn't expect it to turn into all this discution and fighting.
Like I said in my previous comments , the questions should be directed at the casting team or directing team because at the end of the day , they make the final decision.
Since Ai mi is still a minor , she most likely has a guardians/parent or whoever in charged of her ,should be question too. This is kind of situation is not good for both actors if the directing team and the people responsible doesn't take precautions. Look at the comments already blaming the actors and not the people behind them.
I look foward to this drama but i really hope it's not romance ., It's not gonna be good at all. people already talk when adults leads actor have huge age gap imagine with a minor.

I Just came across the page for this drama only a few days ago and I was not aware of the circumstances of how and when he sign the contract.
I have no issue as long as it’s not romance. I never blame Him in any kind of way.I know he is being mistreated regularly so I wouldn’t be surprised if he was force or tricked or something like that either.
Both actor are very talented, I love Ai Mi too. Seeing her in a lead role is huge thing. She’s usually a supported character. I think if this end up being a romance, some questions should be raised at the directing team. For casting a minor with an adult as leads( if it’s actually romance between the leads) I do believe that when leads actor has such a huge age Gap , especially with minors ,questions will be raised regardless of who it is . Doesn’t mean they are automatically haters. We have to be careful with that .
maybe some exemption I don't know but most drama this year (well normal lenght ones) from IQIYI has been 2 eps…
IQiyi is the best platform for me among IQiyi, WeTv ,MangoTV and Youku, IQiyi is less greeedy lolll. We got 4K streaming for those have 4K devices , don’t have to pay two extras fees to get express package for every drama. With the other stuff you mentioned to. it’s really worth the money, I think personally. MangoTV is the worse 😭🤣. Their subtitles give everybody headaches, they don’t make the effort.
since when does Yan Chi want the to inherit the throne? or is it just a mistake with translation. I know about the ending of the novel but in the drama , Yan Chi never mentioned it . Where does that come from ?

I do hope they become Emperor and Empress. With the power she would have, Qi Wa could do much more then just practice the profession itself. She would be able to use her authority to open more opportunities for others. Yan Chi follows her Lead , he listen to her so she wouldn’t be like any other empress. Yan Chi considers her as her equal not a figure authority above her.
With the Emporer( if Yan Chi becomes emperor)behind her as her back up , what can she not do ???. These two wouldn’t be like the typical Emperor and Empress. I think some people failed to understand that.
Qi Wan is smart and as a lot of potential. She would make a great Empress, true example for other Woman , showing that they can do more then just being a wife and follow a husband. She’s has already prove it. I think with Yan Chi by her side as her equal , as Emporer and Empress they can do even more.
me too. Wonderland of Love with Xu Kai ended like that . I didn’t like it 😭😭. the drama was good but the ending was off for me. The writers should have left it at them becoming Emporer and Empress then having the kids. Instead He becomes Emperor then give up the throne to go leave as commoner in a rural areas 😑😑.

oh I see , the crown prince doesn’t even seem interested into having the throne 😅. So Prince Cheng is not really royal blood then since he’s most likely the fake emperor son. That still leave Prince Rui and Yan Chi as real royal blood. If crown prince do get deposed or step down of his position. Yan Chi is next in line ( since Prince Rui died in the next episode)probably why the fake emperor wanna depose crown prince so bad , he’s not his real son. If the Empress knows , if make since if she didn’t say anything cause it would put her and crown prince in danger.
