Probably not. But I am surprised why FL heard the ringing of lie. Maybe her powers are disrupted? Curious to see…
Personally, since the drama shows that truth and lie are both subjective, the bell rang at the last scene because Do Ha truly believes that it was him who drove his ex to her death. So he was lying to himself when he said "I didn't kill her".
This also relates to ep 3 where the client's boyfriend kept lying to protect his surprise, as well as to that scene where Mol Hee's ex kept lying to hide that he's terminally ill.
best way to tell the difference is to think of it like a singing bowl. The truth sound is as though you are skimming…
I think the strong bell sound in the first episodes was intentionally done to properly introduce Mok Sol Hee as a character. As the episode progresses, it would be very annoying to hear that strong bell sound when someone lies. So I really liked how they made it sound like a 'ding!' and not disrupt our senses watching/hearing the daily conversations of the FL.
Besides, the truth sound remains either as an echo or no sound at all, so it's still very distinguishable from Lie.
Can someone recommend me some good dramas to watch and plz no historical ones.
Prison Playbook, The Good Bad Mother, Summer Strike, My Liberation Notes (it kinda helps you reevaluate life, not for everyone), Hometown Cha cha cha, Our Blues, Dear My Friends
Am I the only one who always miss when the bell ring when someone lies or tells truth in drama ? What is wrong…
Hi. If it's the truth, it could be just a low-toned echo or no sound at all (like if FL is throwing a lot of questions while working) but if it's a lie, there's a very distinctive bell sound. Just one ding.
4 eps in and there's no romance yet. The characters are still trying to get to know each other. There were a few situations that needed them to act in love with each other and the chemistry is definitely there.
guys, to me I am not really able to figure the sound when she hears a lie and when she hears a trurth...it's a…
She heard it as lie. A bell rang. I understand that both sounds might be confusing for some, but if it's truth, you'd hear an echo-- more of an elongated low note, whereas if it's a lie, just one swift ring of a bell- high note.
1. The dialogue. While most people think that the writers weren't smart enough due to the use of several romance tropes, I beg to disagree. You can tell how smart and talented the writer is based on how they write the dialogue, and KTL's writer/s definitely aced that one.
Some scenes would have been presented either typically - like how most writers would have written it, or flamboyantly-- just to show they added extra flair. But here, the dialogues just flow smoothly. It also highlights Junho's skill in delivering lines, as if there aren't any cameras around him. So I guess, they match well.
So I don't get the negative comments about this drama. Sure, they could have done some of it differently but don't come here demanding for an elaborate and rich plot and dramatic plot twists because the show runners never promised us that.
In fact, the leads have been promoting this as a feel-good romcom, and we got that and more. They did their assignment.
I also live marriage dramas, or those where the leads are already married. Sadly there's little projects with it in K-drama land. Most of it are troubled marriages too, filled with great lessons nonetheless.
1. Flower of Evil (I thoroughly enjoyed this! They truly act like a healthy married couple. The cast also hangs out every now and then and posts on social media, so that's a plus)
2. Go Back Couple (I had a very strong second lead syndrome on this one)
3. The Miracle We Met (I really love this show. Some hated the writer but I liked how it was wrapped up)
4. Tomorrow With You (get ready for the romance!)
5. Emergency Couple (This started out as the couple seeing each other for the first time since getting divorced. This is old but gold!)
6. Marital Chaos (very chaotic indeed. Didn't finish this due to some streaming issues but worth the watch)
7. Big Mouth (Yoona and Jung Suk made believe they were in love in real life π)
8. Familiar Wife (Good reviews made me watch this years ago but I remember having a heartache in almost every episode. What a sad couple.)
9. VIP and The Last Empress. (Let's just say that Jang Nara is very good on marriage dramas. Her Fated to Love You and Family: The Unbreakable Bond with Jang Hyuk are pretty good too).
10. My Wife is Having An Affair This Week (For me, apart from Flower of Evil, this drama best shows the norms of married life).
Unfortunately I agree! What happened?? π€ͺπ π they are both excellent actors.. maybe they needed a break…
Lee Junho was vocal since The Red Sleeve days that he wanted to star in a RomCom next. Perhaps leading a historical drama took a toll on him. YoonA must have needed a breather too after starring in serious projects like Big Mouth.
I think its a deal btw Viki and Tvn, Most of the Mon- tue TVn dramas airs on VIKI / Viu.
I agree, it's the higher ups. I guess MLL's production company sold its rights to Viu/Viki instead of Netflix. I just wish Netflix picked this up first before any of them did.

Are you perhaps referring to Syaon?

2. We were given exactly what the show was marketed and packaged for--- RomCom? Yes! ClichΓ©? Yes! Big budget? YES!!! Light and fluffy? YES!!!
