the translation i watched said son-in- law and they did not being the term wife at all. it said "you havent…
The Chinese word used (in all places) was 媳妇 (xífù) which is the word for "daughter-in-law" (the wife of your son) or "wife" (possibly depending on how it's pronounced, not sure since I'm just a beginner learner). In the line spoken to his dad, WSW didn't use the pronoun at all, he just referred to his "wife".
I think what makes Revenged Love beautiful is the pacing. It's evenly paced and there's little to no draggy scene.…
Yeah, the script and the direction and the editing are SO GOOD, they didn't have a super high budget but they really put all their skill and passion into this ❤️
WTH episode was that? (ep.18) I hated it! I want it gone and never come back! And how am I supposed to wait until…
I cried, but I also actually loved it? It was so freaking well made, and brilliantly acted. I don't think I've ever seen a breakup episode that was this good. Does it hurt? Yes! But it was also absolutely masterful! And I usually hate the misunderstanding/miscommunication trope, but here they made it *make sense*, it was always integrated into the storyline from the start, and they built it up so well. And they really showed us the pain and anguish of the characters.
I genuinely don’t get this blame game. Both CC and WSW did things that led to their breakup. WSW is insecure…
Yeah, it's either both of them at fault or none of them. WSW is insecure and overthinking things (and his thinking was also manipulated and twisted around by WS), but it's also the fact that he doesn't belive CC can ever forgive him for deceiving him initially. So he's always put off the reveal because he didn't want to break up, at the same time as he 100% believed it would happen sooner or later. His guilt has been eating away at him, and right now he doesn't think he's worthy of being with CC. CC is in a tough spot where he has to choose between keeping a promise to his dying mother-in-law and tell his lover the truth about her. He knows WSW is acting out because he's afraid that CC has grown tired of him now that his old lover is back, but he can't say what he's really doing, which just makes the misunderstanding worse. It's like they're both stuck in a downward loop. Everything needs to come down and crack open. It's the only way they can move forward. I usually hate the misunderstanding trope, but here it somehow makes total sense to me.
i havent watch ep 18 yet cant bring myself to watch it yet
Valid! It was a very very good episode, though. I can't remember when I last saw a [redacted] episode this good. Did I cry? Yes. I did. I also sat glued to my screen every second.
