where can i watch this series everyone pls helpπ
Gagaoolala, Viki, RevengedLove Youtube channel. All of them require subscription after the first four episodes, which are free to watch. Viki releases the episodes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the other two on Mondays and Tuesdays. The YT channel membership is not expensive, but they tend to not have the best subtitles. Gaga subs are sometimes good, sometimes bad. Viki subs are the most reliable. Please consider watching it on one of these official platforms, since that's how we can support the actors and creators of this series.
This is rigged, right π I mean I'm currently obsessed with Chi Cheng, but... π
Ah, right, I might have misunderstood the purpose then π So it's a "He's hot, but there's a big BUT" kind of thing, and you're supposed to choose the biggest "but"?
My runner-up was Thame, because dating an idol would be like a nightmare irl π
It's a shame that it's not possible to replay the game...
I on the otherhand love to see the main couple, especially that top (Chi Cheng/TXN) both on and offscreen.
I agree. Chi Cheng is a very closed off character but with lots of coiled-up tension simmering under the surface, and it's very difficult to portray the emotional fluctuations of such a character onscreen. Tian Xuning is doing a great job of portraying CC's shifts in moods and thoughts through microexpressions in the beginning, to increasingly expressive acting as the story progresses and he opens up his heart to WSW. People who don't pay attention tend to describe this kind of acting as "stiff". Another good example is Wang Yibo's portrayal of Lan Wangji in The Untamedβhe too was initially accused of "stiff acting" by people who didn't understand the character and didn't notice the subtle expressions. I've seen other actors try to portray such "stone faced" characters and fail utterly because they couldn't convey subtle microexpressions, rendering the character flat and one-dimensional and totally unengaging.
In contrast, a chaotic, energetic and highly expressive character like Wu Suowei is easier to play, especially if you have some amount of comedic timing. Considering his relative inexperience in acting, Zi Yu is doing great. WSW is *supposed* to look fake sometimes, because he *is* faking it (at least in the beginning) in front of Chi Cheng. So Zi Yu is playing a role who is (not that convincingly) playing a role, lol. And the character himself is supposed to be kind of ridiculous and over the top, but still somehow endearing. I think all of them are doing bang up jobs.
I really enjoyed the first adaptation so I'm planning to check out this one, also the books used to be very popular.…
Chinese fans can still find ways to watch it, but they can't do so legally. (Which makes it all the more ridiculous when they start complaining about the leads in the drama, because they're not even paying to watch it.)

It's NOT a domestic China release. This is only airing outside of mainland China on non-Chinese platforms. That is why they can air it in the first place.
This drama is funny, the actors are cute. They feed us BTS where you can see that the actors have incredible chemistry…
Great points, I just want to say that the source is a novel, not a fanfiction (unless you mean that it has the same *feel* as fanfiction does, in which case I also see your point!)
I came here to squee and gush about the drama and now I'm going to go away again because this ain't it. Seriously, people. Stop hashing these rumours over and over as if they even mattered. If you saw actors as real, fallible human beings with a real life in the first place, and didn't build them up into some kind of fantasy creature out of a fairy tale, you wouldn't care either. All I care about is the series and the characters they play. If anyone wants to talk about that, please go ahead.
I HATE THIS SHOW! Revenged love has NO BUSINESS to make me wait for it and not getting into other shows like whyyyy?…
Welcome to the club! Chinese BL is in a league of it's own, even when it's not perfect. I have a hard time focussing on anything else π it's ridiculous. RL ate my brain π
Its rather annoying to see the fandom being divided right now, and I can guess that it will just get worst when…
People are just feeling protective of Dabao, it's the "mom fan" effect lol. They forget that his intentions weren't exactly pure from the start either. Personally I dread the angst era but I also think it's necessary to bring clarity and depth to the relationship, and I think it will be worth it in the end (even if I might cry before then hahaha)
Today I realised that the actor who plays Thiwtit also played the MC in "I Will Knock You", which I actually watched and liked???! He's so different here! (Still with the exaggerated acting, but somehow the scenery-chewing villain role works for him, lol)
Wait wait...I a bit confused with this Wang Shuo!!!!! Did Chi Cheng and Cheng Yu both also already sleep with…
Wang Shuo was Chi Cheng's boyfriend for three years and the one who gave him his first snakes (Little Jealousy and Yellow Dragon). Then he cheated on CC with his best friend Guo Chengyu, which caused the rift between them (which was probably his real intention).
