So people commenting on how their characters are like the actors in real life. Well, surprise surprise, the characters are loosely based on them. Goy and Boss (two out of the three screenwriters) came out saying that Nadao (like all other Nadao shows) gave them an opportunity to interview the cast beforehand, and that is why Oh Aew and Teh felt like carbon copies of PP Krit and Billkin respectively. In fact, PP Krit and Billkin met at a tutorial school just like how Oh Aew and Teh go to the same Chinese school.

This show is extremely famous in Thailand and making it #1 into the Twitter Worldwide Trends. I checked the charts a few weeks ago and all major iterations of the OST are on the top of the charts (#1, even). BTW, for a five-episode short, it has four major sponsors including Honda. And note that this is from the studio that brought My Ambulance and Hormones, which is Nadao. Even from the get go, this was bound to be successful and famous, and it already is. Right, internationally, it may pale in comparison compared to 2gether, but locally, this show is a totally different kind of monster.

the writing is problematic around the end tbh

The pacing is weird. How the hell did it take just one episode for Tonhon to get from recognizing Chonlatee as a brother to a lover? I would have liked it if the confusion was started way earlier (like episode 3 or 4 or something). First half was too slow and the last parts are starting to be paced in a very fast way.

Great, now I have to sit through my day, thinking of the film.

Does this mean that Netflix wll co-produce the second season too? *Crossing Fingers*

Great news! Starting January 7, 2021, Gaya Sa Pelikula or Like in The Movies will be available for streaming on Netflix on Southeast Asian regions including Taiwan and Hong Kong.

People here commenting that this is the worst out of the four (P.S. I haven't watched Spike yet), because of its fluffy premise, but then, is it really that bad just because of its premise? Because I thoroughly enjoyed watching this thing and its super fun and light.

GMM was horrible in their BLs last year. Crossing fingers it will get better.

I dunno nobody in this series has a straightforward explanation of their characters because of the number of layers they have.

People are always saying how everyone here have very toxic relationships and should just break up, but please don't forget AMM AND CRISS.

Earth is slowly becoming like Pop and Sam is being so selfless. I don't get the hate for Sam this season since he really did nothing wrong. Temptation was right on his face, yet he never faltered.

I don't know about learning. I barely got to see any sides of Tonhon that isn't homophobic and overprotective and I barely see any side of Chonlatee that isn't soft and innocent. They're not showing me variety.
