To the people who told me that the breast theory was wrong, I watched the documentary episode 5 and it confirmed my theory. The breast grabbing scenes are what they meant to be. A realization for Teh that Oh-aew is not a woman.
The screenwriter (who is also a stunning actress, by the way) is a genius! The red vs violet hibiscus test was done by Namtan to test if Teh would be reminded of her violet hibiscus bra (she even wore the same bra), and when Teh drew a red hibiscus (signifying he is reminded by Oh-aew instead), Namtan got angry (which is totally understandable).The bra scene happened on Episode 2The red hibiscus scene happened on Episode 3The knots were tied and we are finally revealed its significance on Episode 4.Genius!
Just watched episode 4 and confirmed that my breast theory is correct. On the last scene of episode 3, Billkin hesitated and got confused when he realized that PP had no breasts. On episode 4, he embraced that fact.
Yeeesh. The conflicts are cheap for Tincan and when it comes the time to resolve them, they just gloss over it like WTF. Also, what happened to Pond's girlfriend? And another thing.
FOCUS ON DAMN TUL! HIS STORYLINE IS BASICALLY THE LAST HOPE ON THIS SERIES. TECHO ANG KENGKLA'S STORYLINE IS BASICALLY DEAD SINCE NOTHING HAPPENED. TUMTAR IS ALSO DEAD FOR THE SAME REASON.
On the last scene, Teh was grabbing Oh-aew's front and clutched his arms together on Oh-aew's chest— then came to a stop.That was actually resembling of Teh's confusion. Oh-aew isn't a woman; and thus, he did not have breasts. When he clutched the chest of Oh-aew, he wasn't able to clutch any— and thus, waking Teh up to reality, and slapping it to his face that he's in love with someone of no breasts— a man.
My review for Episode 2. I know that this has only 5 episodes and I am quite surprised that they didn't try to rush their storyline through— and I love that. It develops their feelings slowly and tries to put human emotions into their characters. They aren't perfect. Billkin gets jealous but he isn't annoying. Sometime what he does frustrates me but it's totally understandable. I love it. I had to give a clap to the scriptwriters and their ability to use seemingly insignificant events and turn them into meaningful pieces of imagery given their context. Take that slipping of the page for example.
