I finished the show today and i get what you mean.I still feel like it is not the worst show but still not exactly my cup of tea either. I think it was okay but i have seen worse.

I have not seen the last episode yet but I don't think the show is astronomically bad as a whole. There were parts I enjoyed here and there. I also didn't see this as a pure romance based show from the very beginning. The romance is not the driving force for the plot. You will be greatly disappointed if you view it from that lens because it will fail(the synopsis is also kind of misleading in that regard).

At the core this is about a group of friends navigating life. Love just happens to part of it along the way. The characters may not resonate with me per se, but I kind of get what they were going for. It is not perfect or the worst either . I can see some people enjoying this type of story too. I classify this more as a coming of age slice of life type story. I welcome the variety in the type of 'BL' or queer stories told tbh.

I agree with everything you said!! I do think this show in particular isn't as bad as the Mdl comments had me believe but not as good as the YouTube comments claim either. It is best to watch things for yourself most times.

I am only on Ep 6 but the reception looking at the YouTube comments Vs the MDL ones are so different lmao. The comments on MDL are the reason i started watching this yesterday to see how bad it is beyond the weird wigs.

It depends on the country and if it has the licensing for the content. Most Netflix originals should be available because they own the content exclusively already but there are various reasons specific to a region that determine availability.

Netflix licenses shows/movies made by other parties. They buy the rights to exclusively broadcast popular titles that they did not produce themselves or opt to collaborate. This is what likely happened with Alchemy of souls or Attorney Woo as Netflix partnered with the studios (TVN & ENA) for license rights.

I would watch a second season to see where it goes.
