Definitely as u observed some specific/NC scenes were cut . Compared to trailer/preview some scenes r missing..…
Yeah I believe it was a marketing move as well, because I cannot find another reason to show those scenes when in the end they are not in the episodes and the whole story is toned down a lot. The trailers shows bits that fuel a certain narrative that is kinda different from what we are seeing in the episodes 🤔🤔
But let’s hope the fit them in other episodes 🤷🏼♀️
Who is Lu Feng actually taking revenge on? Such strange revenge... he's torturing himself more than anyone else...…
I swear, Lu Feng’s idea of revenge is hilarious. 😂😂 Like, what the fuck, bro? Sleeping with random people because you’re mad? That’s the best you’ve got? 😭
I don’t even believe Lu Feng actually slept with anyone. It was all just an act. 😀There were hints pointing…
Yeah, I believe it was all an act as well. Lu Feng is such a simp for Yi Chen. He just wants to make him pay for all the pain he had to endure alone. But I’m 100% sure that if Yi Chen actually used his brain and openly admitted that he’s still in love with him, Lu Feng would drop his revenge instantly. Because that’s what he really wants to hear: that Yi Chen still loves him, that he’s sorry, and that the marriage was a complete farce
Okay so… this episode was definitely not what I was expecting.
Don’t get me wrong, it was toxic as hell, but not in the way I had prepared myself for.
What really stood out to me was how much both Lu Feng and Yi Chen are suffering for a situation neither of them actually created. For all the anger, resentment, and manipulation between them, there was something incredibly tragic about watching two people who clearly love each other but have reached a point where that love is only causing them pain.
The scissors scene especially gave me chills. When Lu Feng told Yi Chen to just kill him so they could both finally be free, it felt like one of the most revealing moments of the episode. It says so much about where they are emotionally. Their love has become a burden they’re both carrying, and neither of them seems capable of putting it down. It was really painful to watch and I might have cried a little 🥹🥹
Now, regarding the whole revenge plan. Lu Feng’s idea of revenge is hilarious. Bringing strangers home and sleeping with them in front of Yi Chen is peak drama queen behavior 😂 But I can understand the feeling behind it. From Lu Feng’s perspective, he spent years believing that Yi Chen chose someone else and built a life with her. It’s irrational, messy, and self destructive, but it makes sense that his anger would come from that place.
Something else that confused me: am I imagining things, or were some scenes from the trailers completely missing? What’s interesting is that the trailers seem to frame certain situations very differently from how they actually play out in the episode, and I’m still trying to figure out whether that’s intentional misdirection or if some scenes were cut altogether.
And speaking of toxic dynamics… I still don’t know if Yi Chen’s bed scene was a dream or a memory, but Lu Feng threatening to lock him up if he ever left and Yi Chen responding with “Okay, as long as you love me” tells you everything you need to know about these two. Neither of them has ever had a healthy understanding of love, and that’s part of what makes their relationship so compelling and so painful to watch at the same time.
Also, before I go:
Can we talk about Ayden for a second?
Sir.
Respectfully.
Who gave you permission to look that good? 😭 I was genuinely trying to pay attention to the plot, but he spent the entire episode distracting me by being ridiculously attractive 🙄😭
Are we finally free from Yi Chen junior or he will be back at some point? Because I really can’t stand his ass and I need to be prepared in case he shows up again 💀
But let’s hope the fit them in other episodes 🤷🏼♀️
He’s basically fueling his own rage. 😂😂😂
I mean.. he has a great couch, free drinks and a pool table 😭
