Also, I do think he has feelings for Lu Feng. I just personally don’t see them as love. To me, love is also about choosing someone, standing by them, and putting them first when it matters. Yi Chen consistently puts other people above Lu Feng and is even willing to go against him to please those he considers more important. That’s why, from my perspective, it doesn’t feel like love.

I know the show wants me to see their bond as touching, but at this point it just makes me uncomfortable.
I would’ve much preferred Yi Chen telling Lu Feng, “Bro, I can’t forgive you. I’m leaving and moving on with my life.”

I honestly don’t think Yi Chen loves him. He has never really shown me that he does.
