After watching 18-22, I understood why after NXG's mom filed for divorce NXG's dad just agreed to it without fighting to save the marriage. Let's just say I was under the impression that he was misunderstood, cause before he seemed at least a bit decent.
In the end, he turned out to be the scum of the earth. He couldn't stomach his wife being his equal partner, even though that's how they pretty much started off. And when this white-moonlight showed up, being all meek and obedient, he finally found some kind of sense of worth. And that white-moonlight is clever enough to play to satisfy his male-ego.
On the business side, I wish the Sheng grandpa to announce LYS as the heir at the banquet, but LYS goes, "Thank you for the offer, but I decided to go back to being a doctor".

I'm just commenting that they should rather release bonus episodes instead of early release of ONE episode. They are only releasing the episode early because most people would be busy celebrating New Year's Eve and would not tune in at the usual time.
I'd rather they drop bonus episodes (preferably 2 or 3 😅) instead of early release of ONE episode. And they make it seem like they are doing us a favor with this move. Nope, they are just scared that most Chinese viewers would not tune in at the usual time today because of New Year's Eve.
