I have watched Go Back Lover last weekend and noticed he's got abs.

I don't mind that they cut DZ's reaction to it, just how the scene transitioned from WTY finding out DM is dying to WTY holding DM in his arms was a weird editing cut. I think they cut something in between, that's why it turned out that weird. But of course, we are used to these kind of cuts in c-drama. But this episode had quite a few weird editing cuts like these in an otherwise almost-perfect drama.

There were a few instances, but the most glaring one was when WTY finds out DM was dying, there was a weird editing bit there.. I guess they had to cut out some part.

I don't like the premise of any of the above dramas, but I will take Cross the Ocean only if Wang Churan is the FL. Very excited for this pairing.

I would rather it be debunked and they are paired up in another decent drama. Preferably a Xianxia.

He's actually a Marquis, not a Duke—probably a mistranslation on WeTV's part. Regardless, whether it's a Marquis or a Duke, these are just noble titles. In Wei Tingyue's case, the title appears to have been inherited from his father. However, a title alone is meaningless if he can't back it up with substantial achievements, such as serving as a military commander or as a civil official. His title is basically an empty hereditary title with nothing to show for it.

ML's father, a Duke, is another example of a man holding an empty title. While he is working as a civil official, he doesn't seem to have much influence in the court.

I have just completed binge-watching Go Back Lover, also starring Li Yunrui. Li Yunrui displayed his abs in that drama a few times lol, too bad he didn't do that in today's topless scene in this drama.

I just completed watching it.. I started watching this because I'm loving Blossom. I really enjoyed this drama. Definitely worth a watch.
I've seen some really bad dramas get 8+ ratings, and some really good dramas get 7.7 or 7.8, like this one.

I read somewhere that the actress playing the Stepmother is the producer of this drama.

In the novel, they were related by marriage (one of FL's uncles is married to a Ji family member). That's why he was one of the potential love interests for FL. He also seriously considered getting married to the FL. He was actually very involved in the switcheroo thing, in the hopes that he could marry the FL after all is settled. FL gets mad at him for this and their friendship sours. They get back to being good friends after FL and ML gets married though.

In the drama, they are cousins but not closely related (from what I gather). And that's why, I believe, the drama didn't use him as a potential love interest.
