FL goes on to have half of her stomach to be surgical removed so that she can't over-eat (she's a foodie) and look fat on-screen. She's also extremely busy, only takes 5 days off per year, and to keep with the busy schedule, she frequently takes injections.
Hey guys.. a bit off-topic. I just came across a Chinese novel and started reading. I'm almost at the end, and I felt like this novel truly depicts how C-ent industry runs. I did read Chinese novels based on entertainment industry before, but they all felt like they are sugarcoating everything. This one however is so brutally real, while also able to convey a good love story. The novel is about two ex-lovers who are now at peak, ML is at peak in the movies while FL is at peak in the dramas. It talks about CP hyping, billing issues, table reading, variety shows gimmicks, and a lot of other things very realistically.
I highly recommend it for everyone to read it, so you might understand the C-ent industry a little bit more.
We're already seeing melons for A Cup of Love release, yet there's still no information on when Fire Investigator or 800m will release. They were both filmed before A Cup of Love.
I understand Fire Investigator might need to go through a thorough review process that could take forever, I don't know what's stopping 800m from releasing. It already passed review.
Just blocked someone who put that @jarum and normal people in the same bracket. As I said, block and move on. It feels liberating once you have blocked toxic people. Do not engage anymore.
never plus there is too much bad blood between both fanbases; I like them both individually but I think that twice…
😭 you don't have a sound argument and can only accuse us of being misogynists.
I asked you where have I even appeared to have dragged/insulted Bai Lu, and you have nothing but call me a misogynist.
Again, if I have not made myself clear before, I never brought up Bai Lu first here. Nor have many Xu Kai fans here. Those who did bring up Bai Lu on here aren't even Xu Kai fans.. we mostly don't engage in topics related to her.. only this one time we just happened to discuss as respectfully as we can. Also, we aren't intruding your space to discuss these things. We are doing it in our own space, but it's you who is intruding here bringing out baseless accusations, insulting Xu Kai repeatedly when most of us have only been respectful to your fave Bai Lu.
Do some self-reflection, read all our comments with open mind, and you will understand that most of us here respectful in our discussions. And our discussions are based on facts you can simply find by searching on Weibo or other Chinese sites. If you can't see it and still wish to be confrontational, then I can only say goodbye. Think whatever you want to. This is my last message to you. Next time you engage with me with the same attitude, I am blocking you. Or better yet, do me a favour by blocking me.
It might be possible, this pair will be insane, doesn't matter whether their fans will like this cooperation or…
Don't even know Reddit and FB. Xu Kai fans aren't even concentrated there.
And who brought up Bai Lu except in this thread recently?
Even if brought up, I'm sure it wasn't anything negative and pretty sure no one else followed it up on it.. at least I didn't see anyone did. If they did, I would definitely notice it.
In any case, this is a XK fans safespace where we discuss a lot of things, and we usually keep to ourselves. We aren't barging into other actors/actresses fan pages (like you) to discuss these things right? It's you who came here looking for trouble, so perhaps it is you who is being overly obsessed?
Guys, I think it’s time we set a few clear ground rules so we can keep this space peaceful and drama-free. Lately, other fandoms have been coming in and accusing us of being “obsessed” with their faves instead of focusing on Xu Kai (and honestly… the irony is loud, but we’ll save that conversation for another day).
Here’s what I propose:
1. Certain actors/actresses are off-limits here. You know exactly who I’m talking about. From now on, let’s not discuss them in this space. If someone brings them up—no matter the context—I won’t be engaging. I’ll be blocking and moving on. I hope others can do the same. The less we entertain it, the more peaceful this little corner of ours stays.
2. When discussing Xu Kai’s upcoming dramas, let’s stay respectful. Of course we’ll talk about his projects, and that naturally includes his male and female co-stars. That’s completely normal. Let’s just make sure our discussions stay respectful—the same level of respect we expect from other fandoms toward Xu Kai.
3. Do not engage with trolls. Clarify and move on. If you see obvious troll accounts ragebaiting here or in other Xu Kai fan spaces, make it clear that we do not claim them and we do not support their comments. Then disengage. No feeding the fire.
Right now, Xu Kai is getting unnecessary hate because of these troll accounts. If we stay silent, other fandoms may assume those comments reflect all Xu Kai fans—which they absolutely do not. Other fandoms are quick to clarify when trolls appear. We need to be just as organized and proactive.
Let’s protect the space, protect the vibe, and most importantly, support Xu Kai the right way.
It might be possible, this pair will be insane, doesn't matter whether their fans will like this cooperation or…
Again, bringing misogyny into a conversation you can't win. Just leave.
We barely discuss Bai Lu here. Scroll further down, and you hardly see Bai Lu being discussed here. And whenever you do see it, it is because someone who is not even a Xu Kai fan starting the discussion.
never plus there is too much bad blood between both fanbases; I like them both individually but I think that twice…
Where in the world did I drag/insult Bai Lu or anyone else in my posts? If your mentally retarted ass thinks so, I can't do anything about it.
And don't you bring misogyny into an argument you can't win. You are not defending shit here, because there's nothing to defend here. I am not insulting Bai Lu. I posted my observation of the video I watched on Twitter, and I couldn't find the video link so I found this article to share cause the article has screenshots.
Even others have been fair in their comments about Bai Lu.
And no, none of us here are obsessed with Bai Lu. Someone who doesn't even seem to be a Xu Kai fan brought up Bai Lu, and we engaged with them making fair comparisons.
Last night on Twitter, a recently created troll account used Xu Kai’s name to provoke and ragebait fans of several of his female co-stars, clearly with the intention of stirring up unnecessary hate toward Xu Kai and his fandom.
Although the account tried to present itself as a Xu Kai fan, even a brief look at its profile and replies makes it obvious that it was not. The account was created just last month and was only active for two days — retweeting posts from Xu Kai fan pages to appear legitimate — before posting inflammatory comments targeting his co-stars for no reason at all.
It doesn’t take much to see through this. No genuine Xu Kai fan would deliberately post content that only invites hostility toward him and his fandom.
Xu Kai fans prefer to stay in our own space. We do not seek out other actors’ or actresses’ fan pages to create conflict. Even when Xu Kai receives negativity from certain fandoms, we do not retaliate by attacking their favorites on their own fan pages. We keep to ourselves and support him quietly.
It might be possible, this pair will be insane, doesn't matter whether their fans will like this cooperation or…
People be creating new accounts on here and on twitter (you can simple open their profiles to verify this) claiming to be Xu Kai fans and stir up unnecessary trouble (there was one who appeared on Twitter last night, posting some nonsense belittling XK's female co-stars while "praising" XK.. that poster named quite a few of XK's co-stars.. now what it did was rile up all those actresses' fandoms against XK... None of them bothered to even check the poster's Twitter profile.. again a new account created just recently, definitely someone out there to stir up trouble.. we XK fans are happy in our small water well, not troubling others.. that poster is definitely not one of us, and this guy here is also sketchy) I'm not saying they are BL fans, but they definitely are not Xu Kai fans.
never plus there is too much bad blood between both fanbases; I like them both individually but I think that twice…
I only described what I saw. I'm sorry if that offended you, a Bai Lu fan sneaking around a Xu Kai fan page all while accusing me of being obsessed with Bai Lu 😭. The irony writes itself. If there's anything remiss in my description of the video circulating on Twitter, feel free to correct me instead of making unfounded assumptions.
But honestly, we haven't seen many really good C-ent industry based novels being adapted.
FL goes on to have half of her stomach to be surgical removed so that she can't over-eat (she's a foodie) and look fat on-screen.
She's also extremely busy, only takes 5 days off per year, and to keep with the busy schedule, she frequently takes injections.
It's terrible what they are doing to themselves.
The novel is great though.

Looks like they removed the series from the website. They uploaded it on another website which is up for download if anyone is interested:
