It was just stupid, is what it is.
If the ending needs justifying that it is an happy or sad ending, bingo, it's an open ending. Also, WXY's team accidentally leaked his death scene at the same battle. It just wasn't used in the final cut.

๐ I made the same comment on there as well, but everyone seemed so happy with the ending that no one bothered to take a look at my comment. I said to myself, "Maybe it's just me" and moved on.

It was a 10 for me until the penultimate episode. Made this correction. I was so pissed by last episode, I had dropped it to 8. I normally either don't rate a drama or rate it as 10. There's no in between. So you can understand my frustration with The Double ending.
I did watch the extras, but it didn't help me get over my disappointment.

The Double was a 10 for me until the penultimate episode, but then last episode came, which was a great disappointment. They were going to leave us with an open ending. And the drama definitely did not deserve an open ending or sad ending. Or better yet, if they are giving us an open ending or a sad ending, it better be because of something that happened in the main plotline. Not because of something that was introduced in the last moment, which again, didn't make sense. Killing ML's two main advisors there was also so stupid. They even filmed ML's death, but didn't use it in the final cut.
If the drama didn't do as well as it did, we wouldn't have gotten that bonus episode. But I'm still pissed at the fact that the drama was going to leave us hanging with an open ending.

I loved his performances in almost all the dramas I have watched of him (no, I didn't watch all, I skipped a few because I didn't like them). The best yet was in ALP and also WOL, especially in eps 31 & 32 of WOL.
He is very good in ABAY too. If you're speaking about chemistry with his co-stars, then this is one of the best chemistry he's had with his co-stars.
There is a question about the Xiaobai project of Guanghua Technology in the front, Han Ting has always attached…
Sorry, comment deleted by mistake.
So it's not on MDL? I don't see anything about this analysis being an excerpt from the novel anywhere on this thread of conversation. Also, this is not an excerpt, but an analysis of what happened in the novel and what's about to happen, hopefully, in the drama.
I canโt picture her with zhi zou. First because I hate guys that canโt accept a no. Second because I feel…
I don't see him as a selfish scum, but I will see him as one if he is coming back to win her back now that she is, from the looks of it, moving on with another man.
What decisions regarding JX did HT exactly take without consulting her?The ONLY thing was getting XC shares back…
No, HT did not use XC as a smokescreen. It was what the evil trio assumed and made JX believe the same.
Now, what he did after knowing that JX was approaching CH, that was him using her as a chess piece, yes. But JX should have confronted HT instead of going behind his back to do all this. Both were equally wrong in this!!!

Remember the guy Xu Qin's mom wanted to introduce to her after she took her to shopping? Song Yan and his cousin encounter this scene and Xu Qin finally takes a stand, remember? That guy was supposed to be Han Ting.
Professor Meng that was introduced in latest episodes is actually Meng Yanxin and Xu Qin's uncle.
In the novel, HT and JX both meet Professor Meng, and Professor Meng asks Han Ting about how Meng Yanxin was doing. He also laments that Xu Qin is already married, how about you?
Ji Xing then, after walking out, asks Han Ting about his relationship with Professor Meng. Han Ting knows that Ji Xing wanted to know about this Xu Qin, so he instead talks to her about Meng Yanxin, who was also at the dinner ZD brought her to the first time. Then he confesses that he almost got engaged to Xu Qin. JX asks, "What happened?". Han Ting replies that the girl already has someone she likes. JX then further asks, "Would you marry someone you met on a blind date?" Han Ting replies yes. And then the conversation slowly flows towards the one you see on screen, about his definition of love.

Tomorrow there is a SVIP fast track release on Mango TV platform.
