Really…I haven’t watched it yet. Ugh…please don’t let him be like the 3rd party in Only for Love. It was…
Don't recall this from the novel. It's been so long since I read the novel anyway. I only recall hating the whole break up fiasco in that. It was so poorly done, and it made me very mad. I did translate a novel written by this author, the break up was poorly done in that novel as well. The novel I translated from this author was already adapted into the drama, Love Scenery.

I haven't watched Only For Love, I did read the novel it was adapted from a few years ago (way way before the drama was announced). It was a decent read, wasn't one of the best, but can muddle through it. Anyway, I don't remember a third party in the novel when they broke up, so not sure which third party are you referring to?
I still don’t think she is going to give him all that much attention based on episode 35 trailer. The whole…
And that's my issue with it lol. Han Ting probably gave that speech because of the competition from another man. Suddenly, it's not about HT and JX reconciliation anymore, but about two men locking horns and the winner gets the prize, JX.
Alright, the drama is in a make-it-or-break-it phase now. How people perceive this drama as a whole will depend on how they handle this break-up period and the making-up period.
The break-up was handled very well, to the point that people were taking sides and passionately discussing it. But ep 33 was a hard watch, I haven't fast-forwarded a single second of the drama up until now, and I was basically on fast-forwarding mode for the whole episode. I hope it's only this one episode. I hope the upcoming episodes won't disappoint me like episode 33 did.
Also, I hate love triangles (I have dropped dramas or have never started dramas for having love triangles, that's how passionately I hate them). I really hoped they wouldn't do this to us now, but they are. The drama is losing me here again. Disappointed, again. Yes, this new guy was in the novel, I know. But his character wasn't that important, and Ji Xing didn't give him the time of the day at all.
ep 33 was a sharp turn away from the novel and I'm not thrilled about it.from what I can see of the previews of…
Ep 33 was really a hard watch. I just completed it, and I have to say, I haven't fast-forwarded a single second of the drama until now, and I was basically on fast-forwarding mode most of the episode.
First off, lemme just say that I blame both HT and JX for the separation. In HT's pov, he was right. In JX's pov, she was right.
So, I've been seeing comments about how HT was wrong to say "they were suitable" when JX asks him if he loves her. Yes, if he knew what mindset JX was in and he spoke the same words, then I agree, he was being insensitive by saying those words. HT didn't know what JX was going through at this time. He thought it was just a normal conversation they were having about love, and he wanted to express his views on love. Which is fair, you need to talk about these things with your partner and find a common ground. It's just the timing was not right, but HT didn't know that the timing was not right. So, can we stop blaming HT for this?
Blame him for not telling Ji Xing sooner that he was Hanhai's investor. Blame him for not discussing the merger plan with Ji Xing sooner. Blame him for not having a conversation with Ji Xing after finding out that she had discovered his merger plans, instead letting her go deal with Chang He. All of these are valid, imo.

I'm ignoring social media (esp twitter), which is getting really ugly. Here, at least, people are respectful and are open to discussion.
