I don't think this is true. It's what the trio thinks and led Ji Xing to believe the same. Han Ting tried to persuade JX to not start the business, instead work for him. If he wanted to use her company as a smokescreen, he would have invested in her company the moment he got the proposal on his desk. Did XingChen work as a smokescreen? Yes. But did Han Ting intend for it? No.

I think this is where some people are unhappy about JX. She believed the words of the villains instead of confronting Han Ting.

Yeah, that wedding was very had to watch, especially since the director, for some reason, decided to keep the camera on Ji Xing throughout their wedding vows.
Yo, man, director, if you want us to give a fuck about the ex-bf and his wife, and appreciate their wedding, maybe do not keep stuffing Ji Xing's face onto us like that?

I guess, in the drama, she meets the Qin guy there. In the novel, she meets him after coming back to China as a part of collaboration with another company.

Yes. But JX is unaware that he is pursuing her until he confesses, and she flatly rejects him. That's how it is in the novel.

They are introducing him in the USA. He's probably studying with her there.

Guys guys, both are wrong from each other's view point. Both are right in their own view point.

Han Ting was wrong to not communicate his plans for merger with Ji Xing, which caused distrust in Ji Xing. Ji Xing was wrong to deceive Han Ting by going to the competetor, who she knows to be a snake that could bite her back.

Probably, but the drama is good though. It's worth a watch.

A very obvious crush that both HT and SYC (he's SYC's co-worker in the novel, btw) noticed, yet JX failed to notice. lol

I did see him in Poisoned Love (wtf is with this title lol) where he played a romantic role. He was good, I quite liked him. I liked the drama too.
