The breakup scenes happened exactly like the novel. The novel is more vivid because you can read what is going…
I share the same feelings as you. I see comments saying that Qiuzi looked happy when she heard they broke up, and I'm like, "Where? Why can't I find the part where she expressed happiness, even a tiny bit?"
You mean in the drama, he didn't later explain it to Ji Xing why he's break up with her? In the novel, he explained…
I don't think he meant financial support, more like any support she needs. He is a bystander not only because he couldn't help her in her endeavors, but also because she rejected his confession citing the reason that she needs to get her company in a better position. She is leaving their dates, did not support him in his difficult times, and so on. This was well built up in the novel, and I think although they rushed it here, it wasn't that bad.
It is a fact that he became a bystander in her life. At her beck and call when she is free, discarded when she is busy with her company (in his pov).
i do not understand the hate either.. first, we have all known already that she will finish with XK, the ML, so…
The break up was well earned in the novel. It wasn't rushed like in the drama, it took full 30 chapters of build up.
The drama rushed it, and it kind of put the bf character in a wrong spot in audience's pov. While in the novel, Ji Xing was at most fault for the break up.
I heard that Han Ting was first mentioned/written in "Fireworks of my Heart". In the novel or drama, was Han Ting…
Yes, he was first mentioned in Waiting for You in a City. Han Ting was the guy Meng Yanchen's mother arranges for Xu Qin as a blind date, and then Song Yan appears there with his cousin. It's the scene where Xu Qin finally takes a stand against her adoptive mother.
They kept the Han surname in the drama, but switched out the 'Ting' part to some other name.
In the novel, it was Han Ting, alright. It was mentioned in the novel that before going to the blind date, he ended things with Zeng Di.
Xiao Yixiao is also in the drama, as Meng Yanchen's best friend, you know the club owner. He's also in the novel, too. One character, two different dramas, two different actors, two different love interests. Xiao Yixiao is living the life.
Moonlight Reunion is definitely not making it this year. Fire Investigator, a very slim chance.
We are getting to the fun part.
