Only for Love is only as good as its source material, the novel it was adapted from.
I'm sure the same goes for ABAY. The novel this drama is based on is damn solid and nothing like what the guy above is assuming.

I won't make assumptions on the drama, but I will divulge a bit from the novel this drama is based on.

No, ML is not a simp. And FL is not a feminist ideologist. There is only one break up between them, and it's because FL asks ML if he loves her. But ML replies that he likes her. FL feels she cannot be in a relationship where she is in love, but her partner is not, so she breaks up with him.

She has a 师弟 (Shīdì), which translates to Junior Brother. In context, he is a junior from her university.

In the novel, it was a junior brother, not a co-worker.

Not a fake friend, no. She is a good friend, just did some stupid things. And she actually, unknowingly, helped FL and ML get together. Because she helped the other girl get together with FL's ex-boyfriend, FL gets downcast and then meets up with ML. Then they end up having a one-night stand, should be the one in the trailer.

Putting a spoiler tag so that normal viewers who haven't read the novel won't get spoiled.

I have decided to regard the novel and the drama as two different things. But to do that, I feel like I need to get something off my chest:

One of the main reasons I loved As Beautiful As Beijing novel was that it does not follow the usual romance drama tropes. But the changes they made, as seen in the trailer, seem to indicate that the drama is going to follow some of the tropes I do not look favorably up on. I can tolerate them, but I do not enjoy them.
ML having feelings for FL in the uni days does bring forth options to explore these tropes, such as;
ML pining on FL while FL is together with her boyfriend. FL's boyfriend having to be wary of ML playing tricks on their relationship. ML interfering between FL and her boyfriend, causing them to break up. And so on...

I hope these don't happen in the drama, and if they don't, I will be the first to cheer for the drama's success.

Most WeTV dramas end up on Viki. They may take time to discuss the deal, but most of them do end up on Viki.

No, it's not Li Li. It's Zeng Di who's in love with the ML. ML has a friends with benefits relationship with Zeng Di, but Zeng Di has feelings for ML.

Li Li is the novel. She is one of female lead's best friends. She's the one who played the match-maker between Shao Yichen (FL's ex) and his new girlfriend behind FL's back.

I guess I will have to judge the drama on its own merit then.

By The Double, do you mean the novel, Marriage of the Di Daughter?
It does have english translation, but it is going super slow. Like 1/4 of a chapter per week release. They have been working on it for more than 4 years lol, and they still haven't completed half of it.

Yup, that is also based on a novel that I've been wanting to read for a while. The novel does have great reviews, and I know bit of the plot by reading spoilers of the novel a while back. If it is half as good as the novel, then it would make waves like The Double did.

The Double is also based on a novel I've been wanting to read lol. Waiting for the translation to complete. I have enjoyed novels of the author who wrote the novel The Double is adapted from. In fact, the first c-novel I read is from this author.

I just hope that HT does not have romantic feelings for JX from the uni days. I hope it's only good impression.

He does stop. I'm talking about the drama dynamics. I don't like that Han Ting was having a friends with benefits relationship with another woman while having feelings for Ji Xing. Doesn't sit right with me.

There are quite a few dramas in c-drama that have actually not failed the original novels. We are just speculating right now, so let's hope for the best. I am going to try my best to watch the drama on its own merit and not compare it with the novel.
