I did not like the gory. It shows the ugly side of human beings in distress situations.
Squid Game S2 is a continuation of S1 about rich people exploiting the poor by luring them with money and having them kill each other for their enjoyment. I watched the first season and didn't quite like it because of the gory scenes and the moral values it portrays. The same goes for S2. Although the acting was good, I am glad there were only seven episodes this season. It does review the ugly side of human beings when we are in distress situations.
Synopsis: Seong Gi Hun, a.k.a Player 456, has reentered the Squid Game after winning after the previous game. Now armed with the knowledge of the game, he seeks to save other players' lives and end the game. But those good intentions may fall flat in the face of millions of won.

A good portrayal of psychopath and control freak husband with great acting from the main CP
Married is a melodrama that starts with Feng Shao Feng, Elvira Cai, Xing Zhao Lin, and Jia Nai. The main CP acted awesomely and convincingly as a troubled married couple. This was the first time I saw Feng Shao Feng play a bad guy, and he did an excellent job.He played such a good psychopath and a control freak, and the story's pace is quite good. It also shows that it took a long time for the battered wife to get the courage to break free from this toxic relationship, and Elvira did a great job at it.
I enjoyed this drama until the last episode when it was an unnecessary filler. It would have received a higher rating if it had ended with episode 23.
Synopsis: It tells the story of Ning Yue's husband, Hu Cheng, cheating on her when she was pregnant. Ning Yue decided to divorce but found that she might not have the basic ability to make a living. She worked hard to stabilize herself and integrate into society.

Don't waste your time. Bad plot, boring, and dragging crime drama.
B&W Forest is a crime drama that starts with Ryan Ding, Ning Li, and Han Xue. There is nothing special about the drama; it is a typical gangster/police crime drama, and the policemen are useless throughout the entire drama and only make a difference in the last episode. The drama was so boring and dragging. It would be much better to have 15-20 episodes instead of dragging on to 28 episodes. Ryan Ding acted well in emotional scenes; however, I didn't like that his character was so involved with the gang themselves instead of working with the police to clear his name and find his missing gun.
Ning Li's character was such a useless team captain by the book that I didn't like his portrait in this drama.
Synopsis: The story follows police officer Wen Bin Bin, who, with the support and assistance of team leader Xing Liang, embarks on a determined journey to find his lost service pistol. Despite numerous challenges, he remains steadfast in pursuing the truth and eventually captures the mastermind behind the scenes.

Mediocre melodrama story, but good cinematography of Macau.
Begin Again is a melodrama about young professionals who crossed paths in Macau and found inspiration for the meaning of life and love for each other. The story is mediocre, and the ensemble's acting is the same. I love Elaine Zhong and Elvis Han, but the characters they portrayed in this drama were not that exciting. However, I love the cinematography of the city of Macau; it makes me want to visit it since I have not been there.
Synopsis: In the bustling city of Macau, where glittering high-rises and traditional districts co-exist in the same space, there's always something interesting taking place. A short and binge-able drama about life regret with mediocre acting from the cast.
Xiangbei Regret is a short melodrama about a girl who gave up on life after the loss of her mother and lives to regret it.Synopsis: Freelance photographer Mo Xiang Bei unexpectedly gets pregnant. At the same time, her childhood boyfriend, Mu Yi Nan, is focused on his career. As tensions rise over his frequent absences and an actress's advances, Mo becomes increasingly suspicious. After the loss of her mother and miscarriage, she breaks down and leaves Mu, starting a new life in Dali with a small shop called "Regret Inn," seeking self-redemption.
My Reviews:
1. The story is okay and less believable.
2. The acting is mediocre, especially for newcomer He Qiu. The entire ensemble, including the ML, Peng Han Chen, acted mediocrely.
3. It is a short drama that is binge-able. Each episode is 10 minutes long and has 20 episodes in total.
4. Mu Yi Nan put so much emphasis on his career that he neglected his childhood girlfriend, Mo Xiang Bei.
5. It is sad that by the time he comes to realize that he needs her. She died. I don't understand why she has to die, but oh well.
6. I give it a 6.0 rating.
If you have time to kill while waiting for better Cdrama to watch, then entertain this one.

My Reviews:
1. This is a C-rated drama with mediocre actors who cannot act.
2. The drama had some good elements and funny scenes, so it was watchable to kill time while I waited for a better Cdrama to drop.
3. It is a brainless boy-meet-girl romcom with nothing special to the story.
4. Predictable ending.
I give it a 6.5 rating because it is sometimes watchable and funny.
A decent drama focused on the progression of grows into maturity of the FL.
The Tale of Rose is a melodrama about Huang Yi Mei's maturation over time through her choices of lovers, from a young college student to a career woman, and the lovers who passed through her life, including marriage and divorce.Synopsis: Born in a scholarly family, Huang Yi Mei grew up carefully sheltered, like a flower in a greenhouse. However, Pu Jia Ming is terminally ill and only has a few months left to live. Death's scythe ultimately cuts the red string of love between them. Despite her grief and pain, Huang Yi Mei ultimately looks forward to the future, living her life most fully and dazzlingly.
My Reviews:
1. The story is okay, and the flow of the drama is good. It was good to see Huang Yi Mei's progression as she matured and made decisions that fit her needs and happiness.
2. The acting is decent from the entire ensemble. I particularly like the 2nd FL (Wan Qian, who played Su Geng Sheng). Her acting ability is better than that of FL, Liu Yi Fei.
3. The drama has some elements of comedy, so it does not feel draggy.
I like the drama overall and give it a 7.5 rating for good acting and a decent script.
Mediocre about marriage story, but the acting was fantastic, especially the main CP
Queen of Tears is a melodramatic K-drama about the love story of Baek Huyn Woo and his wife, Hong Hae In. A boy meets and falls in love with a girl from a well-to-do family, and the dysfunctional dynamic that their family embarks on ruins their relationship. My Reviews:
1. The main CP acted awesomely, especially the ML, Kim Soo Hyun.
2. The story is okay, nothing special. Typical Romantic Comedy with a melodramatic twist.
3. I didn't like many of the side characters in this drama, where I FF their scenes and only wanted to focus on the main CP.
4. The story started slow and draggy in the first 7-8 episodes. It gets more interesting when FL is diagnosed with a brain tumor; through the matter of life and death, she and her husband rediscover their love for each other.
5. It is a good drama, and the acting is exceptional, especially the main CP. I wish they had more screen time instead of too many supporting casts who steal their screen time.
I give it an 8.5 rating for exceptional acting from the cast.
Good acting but the plot was draggy. It would be better if it cut short to 10-12 episodes.
My Demon is a RomCom Kdrama about a demon who makes a deal with a human during a crisis in exchange for cutting their lives short after it ends. The Synopsis:
DoDo Hee is the successor of the Future Group. She doesn't trust anyone and is cynical about love. DoDo Hee gets involved with a demon named Jung Gu Won and makes a contract marriage with him.
He can live for eternity by making dangerous but sweet deals with humans who endure hellish lives. But after looking down upon humans for 200 years, he gets involved with Do Do Hee and somehow loses his power. He must protect DoDo Hee, who has taken all his power to prevent his extinction.
My Reviews
1. The acting is good, especially the main CP. There are too many supporting cast that it was not necessary.
2. There were too many repetitive episodes. It would have been better if it ended in 10-12 episodes.
3. It had a good message about evilness, and the choices that one makes may have consequences where they refuse to accept or have remorse about their actions.
4. It has some good, laughable scenes.
Overall, it was a decent drama, and I enjoyed it. I gave it a 7.5 rating.
Decent drama about friendship, but it could have been better if it cut short to 24-30 episodes
In Youth is an old (2019) romantic comedy about friends who support each other through difficult situations. The Synopsis: Li Zi Yu is a simple, kind-hearted, and righteous girl. She starts working at a public relations company but unfortunately meets a difficult boss. The boss, Fan Shu Chen, is a talented, hidden rich heir who is very hostile towards Zi Yu, making Zi Yu tremble with fear every day. She doesn't know that company secrets have been leaked since she started working, and Shu Chen is thus heavily suspecting her. But gradually, the two start to appreciate and admire each other. However, Shu Chen's three best friends have their theory on Zi Yu's identity, confusing Shu Chen. When Shu Chen's rival, Luo Zong Liang, appears, it becomes known that Zong Liang and Zi Yu have some relationship, which arouses suspicion that Zi Yu could be a spy sent by Zong Liang. What is the truth behind everything? And will Zi Yu and Shu Chen's love-hate relationship have a happy end
My Reviews:
1. The drama could be much better if it were reduced to 24-30 episodes instead of 38.
2. Maggie Huang, who played Ji Xuan Li's character, acted better than Qiao Xin, who played the female lead, Lin Zi Yu
3. I like Li Yang Yang's character, which Dai Si portrayed, and she did a decent job.
4. The friendships between these five characters are good. Still, the plot gets draggy because it involves a competition between two PR companies and revenge.
5. Lin Zi Yu's character is naive but also stupid. She lacks common sense and does not figure out that her stepbrother is using and framing her.
6. The ending is stupid, where her stepbrother doesn't even pay for the crimes that he has committed.
I give this drama a 6.5 rating because the acting was decent, especially from Maggie Huang and Dai Si.
Excellent story and acting from entire ensemble. An unconventional teachers/students relationships
The Hope is a student/teacher drama that focuses on the underserved and not well-to-do students whom society and teachers do not have faith in to pass the college entry exams of one of the prestigious schools in China, except for Lei Ming, an unconventional teacher who has faith in them and pushes their limit alongside the help of the psychology teacher Sang Xia.The Synopsis: Lei Ming, a former successful lecturer facing entrepreneurial setbacks, shifts gears to become a high school teacher. Leading a special class with psychology teacher Sang Xia, they aim to uplift underachieving students. Among them is Li Ran, an orphan with dreams of robotics, who was forced to consider dropping out due to his grandmother's illness. Lei Ming, who is dedicated to every student, intervenes and guides them through challenges with Sang Xia's support. Ultimately, the students overcome obstacles, secure spots in their desired universities, and prepare for the next chapter.
I am giving it an 8.0 rating for the following reasons:
1. It was a slow beginning, and I almost dropped it after 7 episodes.
2. I'm glad I stuck with it because it triumphed when the underdogs and underprivileged high schoolers got into college with high testing scores. They succeeded through the dedication of two devoted teachers who believed in and encouraged them and through their hard work.
3. Good acting from the entire ensemble.
4. I like the FL character; her character complimented well with the ML.
If you are looking for a typical rom-com romance, none exists in this drama; however, it has good character building, and the romantic element between the teachers is implied.
Don’t waste your time. I didn’t even finished it because it was so bad.
The movie is so stupid and the acting is terrible both from the CP. the movie so slow and boring The CP dated 7 years, and finally her BF proposed. He didn’t know that she had a fake marriage 10 years ago. She wanted to get the divorce but can’t fine her precious husband because he disappeared.I am dropping it and give it a 2.0 rating. Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad movie. How much I can write more about it since it was so bad. The acting is bad, the script is bad, and the onscreen chemistry between the main CP also bad.
Not a bad short version Romance & Thriller drama to kill time while waiting for good drama to air
The Next Stop @ is a short 11 minutes 24 episodes mystery love drama about Wu Yan Zhu, a trainee doctor in the real world, who accidentally broke into the world of the comic "W," drawn by her father Wu Cheng Wu, met the comic actor Jiang Zhe, and a series of thrilling events and a sweet love story begins. It was an interesting concept, and because it was short, I am enjoying it. It had romance and mystery as two worlds collide with each other. I was not too fond of the ending, but as expected.
The lead CP did a decent job, giving it a 6.0 rating.
Don’t waste your time. Bad pairing for main CP. Jerry Yan is so bad in this drama
I think Jerry Yan is too old to match with xử Rou Hàn in this drama. I understand it is a forbidden love between middle aged man and a younger, but their onscreen chemistry was horrible. The story is so slow and draggy. I watched 6 episodes and I can no longer continue with it.
I wish Jerry Yan acts in better role that fit his age, something with mature relationship. Perhaps play a divorcée or widow dad, instead of RomCom where he is teaming up with actresses half his age.
Don’t waste your time with this drama in my opinion, and the supporting cast is also horrible, especially the mom.
Too bad, I really like the FL in Perfect and Casual with Miles Wei, a better pairing. I am dropping it and give it a 3.0 rating.
IMO - another flop idol costume drama. Please no more stupid plot.
The Journey of Legend is yet another idol historical costume drama that falls short in its delivery.I watched about eight episodes, but I can no longer find the motivation to continue with it. The fighting scenes were good, but also had over-the-top choreography that came across as unrealistic.
The plot is so dull and draggy that I do not find it engaging, let alone waste my time watching 40 episodes of it.
