Yes, she is popular because she acts in lots of dramas and some of them do end up becoming popular. Her breakthrough work was The Romance of Tiger & Rose which I found it be quite good and she was very funny in that.

I only watched couple of dramas of her, she had the same problem in those dramas also. she lacks chemistry with any of her co-stars. The closest she had any chemistry was in The Long Ballad.

Most cdramas tend to start good then they becoming boring. So, I will recommend few modern ones that remain entertaining throughout.

I don't think you should watch this. Tell me some kdramas that you like, based on that I will suggest some good ones that fit your taste.

Yeah, I also didn't like it because I did not feel any chemistry between two leads at all. The director went for scenes where the two leads stare at each other rather than talk to showcase romantic development similar to L&P but instead of being romantic these scenes felt very awkward due to mainly being fl giving out blank expressions.

Not watched it yet because I struggled watching fl previous dramas like moonlight and I totally skipped her character in find yourself. I also don't really like xianxia dramas as I have a hard time watching them for more than two episodes. The ones I tried to watch are Love and Redemption and Ancient Love Poetry which are highly rated and popular but still I couldn't move past for more than couple of episodes.

Don't watch Love like the galaxy! There is barely any romance in that show. I was also tricked into watching that because of the title and high ratings but it was disappointing. My recommendations are forever love, our secret, The day of becoming you and Love scenery.

Agreed, I also came here after watching L&P. But after watching 20 episodes there is barely any character development for the male lead and the only things we see about him are that he is a general and saves fml whenever she is in danger. This was such a downer especially after watching the ml(li xun) from L&P.

I'm on episode 22, Does it get better? feeling tired of seeing fml and her family get so much screentime while the ml has barely any screentime or meaningful character development and we don't know anything about ml except that he is a general
