Its obvious right, before the scene itself . She is using the ML for her personal gains, and not showing him any love, not even gratitude.

At least, in similar other dramas, the FL has a good character and is good to ML and falls in love with him . I am not implying having many boyfriends is bad character. The fact she is lying in her company to get promotion, using the ML for her personal gains , showing him not love, not even gratitude, entangling with her ex which is deceiving ex's wife , one of the only good and well written characters. She has good moments like wanting to have a wedding for her mother, helping the friend, a child who was abused. But, overall it is not good.

I think the main issue you face is not the non conservative nature of drama. Seeing first episode you like the comedy scenes and you would have felt the characters are not mature. But, as it is a fast paced romcom, it is fine not to have characters set up taking time. But , here comes the problem , the characters including the leads become immature and these are justified by wrapping it with comedies. So, you know what to expect

It gets worse , the starting 10 mins of episode 7 is getting even worse and i have stopped it , after that.

me too. As most viewers are rating this one of the best romcoms and I am not liking it , except some comedies, i think it is my problem. Or maybe we have not got any good romcoms in a while and this is not good at all.

Based on your comments, if a film/series has one main genre, it doesn't need to be good in other areas. Whatever be the genre, if the characters are not well written and there is no good script, it is not good. This is a romcom why do you expect a serious script , it is doing its purpose with comedies and its entertaining , right?

all the characters are so bad. Bad is not the sense the characters are evil . It is just the characters have no identity or pride. They are so badly written and everything is made to look good with comedy. I dont know what all tags to be added.

i haven't stopped any shows without finishing. But, i cannot get past starting of episode 7. Out of all issues, I had one the main one was FL and the ex boyfriend deceiving his wife. Now, they to make something funny , made him to sleep in same bed with them. The wife having no problem and again lying with her after FL tells where watch and phone is. Is it funny to any of you guys?

I dont usually watch kdramas checking the writer . Now, having seen that Her Private Life was an average one for me. I dont remember much of it , as that genre is too common . I saw many negative comments on that show as expected something like What's Wrong with Secretary Kim , as Park Min Young as the FL. But, i didn't have any issue while I was watching it . It was more mature than normal kdramas and the writer is not bad , being it his/her first work.

When i saw that spin off was there reading some comments, I again liked this show less. As i normally think , spin offs make sense when the non lead couples, have a strong foundation , don't have much screentime , is well liked by viewers it will be decided. Again, i am subjective as spinoff could handle the issues in a better way , and could be very good.

Coming to the show, as everyone has his/her preferences, a romcom which does comedy in a pretty good way , might be one's favourite. And, me who usually watch 1 or 2 ongoing shows in maybe 3 months, I have not seen anything good recently. I personally like shows like sweet home season 3, queen of tears etc. The last one, i genuinely like was Atypical Family. So, this is the one of the betters dramas in recent times for me (I am sure there would be many good dramas, I am not aware of).

You can also try to finish the drama, as I think it will be get better.
Also, can ignore many MDL comments saying this is the best romcom and so on.

It maybe personal preference. I haven't seen the above movie, but seems an early way of satire romcom. As you mentioned , if one take a short time clip of the drama, it is funny with some very new comical things. But, when i think in a character perspective, not able to understand them and know what the character would do . Eg: The writer friend with her childhood abuse and the CEO commenting her, these things taken in comedy manner seems not right . It should properly handled , and then slowly a relation and romance starting , in which humor of any kind can be inserted. Here, one could say, the CEO is a kind hearted person by his various other actions in his life and he just said wrote something without meaning it. But, instead of focusing more on the apology part, it seems to be comedy took frontseat with he carrying her after gym session, he indirectly influencing her with money and she already started liking him.

To add some things
The other sister backstory seems more horrible and still , but she would end up with the President.
The wife of the ex who seems the only normal character in the show, is actually being betrayed by the FL, not exposing her husband's wrongdoings.
The other sister using a real person's identity for sex novels is not at all right.
The entire colleagues behavior towards is ML/FL is not acceptable.
The FL using the ML for her personal gains and keeping on blaming him.
And all these are presented in a comedically manner. Actually, some of these are very serious topics, so it should be showed seriously or should have been not be present in the script in the first place.

episode 3 was one of the better episodes. You can drop , if that also doesn't make you interested.

The one thing , I don't like about the show , very subjective, is the story. I would have liked it to be a comedy drama like welcome to waikiki. The story what is in this drama is not one to be made as a comedy one. It involves children abandoned by parents, child abuse, infidelity, workplace bullying , malicious commenting and so on. One could argue that to bring such heavy topics in comedically manner is a good thing. It is just that all the characters are built on these stories and if there was some normal characters around FL/ML and they doing the comedy, it would have been better. Not able to relate to the characters . But, the rest of the areas including direction, casting, acting, comedy are all good . Some comedy scenes, the way it is presented is actually very good.

The episode 6 ending was just

Its actually quite funny. Haven't seen a fun one for some time . But, something seems off, I don't know what it is , is the main story, the intention of the characters, the direction, the acting .. don't know what it is . Dont't want to think too much of it while watching as i want it to be enjoyable.

The 2nd FL is wrong for using a real person name. But, the second ML is worse being a malicious commenter (It was an extreme comment maybe something related to her family as normal hate comments she ignores) , faking his status pretending to be poor (And in future he will continue to deceiver her, will fall in love and she will forgive him),
