sooo glad I dropped this at ep 23! and even that was long... I really tried to like it! But after Cang Cang didn't do anything to her father after she found out he tried to kill her, that was it for me!

Im waiting for Dear X to finish... she is phenomenal and I could not watch and keep waiting for next episodes.

yes, she's definitely a better actress than most but I get turned off if the voice is monotone, it needs to match the emotion the actor's trying to convey... but I guess she physically can't

I agree. I think the direction as well... every single moment turns into some trope, but trying too hard with the score to make something between them which I don't really feel. Disappointing cos there's nothing else to watch! lol

I'm finding the main couple's acting quite cringey and a bit too much. The FL for some reason lost weight and also lost the ability to act?! She's so good in her other dramas I've seen but in this, she's overacting and mugging. I don't feel anything as I can't connect. Same as the ML, overacting with his expressions, in trying to convince viewers bit trying too hard and it comes off as disingenuous.

I'm always on the fence about Qin Lan. I find I cannot complete any of her series. Whilst she's beautiful onscreen, her voice irks me for some reason, it's as if she whispers in every circumstance... and it doesn't change even when she's angry, frustrated etc. It's trivial but that's what stops me from continuing watching her shows. After deciding to out this in hold til it ends airing, I realise I've placed her other dramas on hold indifenitely as well.

or she could raise her kid on her own, she's capable of doing that. Why would she get with someone she doesn't have feelings for?

what is she using him for? a lift? They're friends. Mature people have that. For the donation? He did that without her knowing. The SML takes responsibility for his feelings, he knows she doesn't feel anything romantic towards him but he's ok with it. You're overthinking it.

at ep 21 and I'm a bit tired of how many near misses the ML has had... the 2nd couple are an eyesore, I ffwd every one of their scenes... will put on hold til it finishes airing

Yep, I feel the same. It's frustrating 'cos it's not like what they keep repeating is even interesting! And I'd like the ML to grow a spine!

dayummm Kim You Jung is phenomenal... I've liked her in all I've seen her in but her range in this is exceptional.

Yes, the ending was a bit of a let down. I kinda wished they didn't include the romance, it just seemed to be a distraction but the rest of the show had me hooked.
