Their kisses are bland. Are they really in love? They act like friends. Where is the attraction and desire? This…
calm down... it doesn't matter if they're adults, it's the first relationship for both of them and it's their first kisses so obviously it would be a bit awakward
From what I remember, to her uncle , she pretended not to know which and was asking him, who's the hot guy over there? is he single? that kinda thing... the uncle told her it's inappropriate to say such things I think then she asked her uncle to introduce her to him as she was so curious and really wanted to meet him... I'm not doing it too much justice but that was sorta how it went... it felt cute and bold... and when she was introduced to him, she still pretended not to know him and asked him if he was single...
ep 26 - F9r the scene at the party, I really wish they had kept the dialogue and the plot from the novel... it was way cuter than what they conveyed in the drama
A drama full with pathetic characters but the most pathetic award goes to the Princess of susha lol. Before starting…
The prince and princess drive the plot. The mains carry the emotional cost of that plot. Without the leads, the royal storyline would be hollow and the damage of power would be invisible They are the lens, not the engine.
If it helps, I think it is set in 2012. As for the disjointed scenes, I get it. How I've gone throught it is, I've chosen to ignore those details and enjoy the parts I love because i love both leads and so far, they're giving quite good performances.
My biggest issue with this drama was that Sang Yeon was such a toxic character. I actively disliked her, which…
I think that was the point. I don't think she was written to invite empathy. Instead, she was written to expose gendered expectations of emotional labour. Sang Yeon withholds clarity, prioritises her own emotional pace and doesn’t over-explain or soothe others’ discomfort.
In male characters, this behaviour is frequently excused as “complex” or “brooding.” In a woman tho, it reads as cold and unsympathetic — and the drama leans into that discomfort deliberately.
I somehow clicked on Yumi's Cells 3 and rewatched and the storyline with Yoo Babi is surprisingly similar to the one with Sang Hak... both males were swayed emotionally and both thought they could just continue their respective relationships 🙄 now I'm wondering whether any of KGE's other characters suffered the same fate 🤔
It's okay to be a slow-burning romance, but it's just slow. Nothing seems to be moving along. There's nothing…
I wish they had dug deeper into the stepsister's story too. At this stage, the show is pretty much just coasting on the ML's arc, not really building anything else... hopefully it's sustainable but already my interest is looking elsewhere.
