I reckon it's cos he ghosted her. Never said goodbye, just upped and left and for her it was a betrayal because she accepted him for what he was and he didn't even have the decency to let her know he was okay.
I don't regard her as pitiful nor was she weird. She was just straightout narcissistic lol she didn't want kids so she walked in front of a car to kill the baby. ML was right in wanting to save the baby but of course as a selfish narcisstic shell of a woman, she wanted revenge for being wronged so she was arrogant, entitled, exploitative and lacks empathy. I wish she suffered a lil bit more. She got off scot free for a pill pusher and a criminal (for installing the cameras) and even ended up with her husband, that was the only thing I didn't like about the show.
