He's being petty to the said best friend because it involves YW. I get that the show is about YW and the characters we see are thru her dynamic with them, but I believe KMW being the obnoxious co-worker who puts his nose into other business, acted like that not just because it's YW who is being absent, also at least now we knew he's a tactical lawyer from his dynamic with YW.
everytime a male lead is caring and nice he gets called bland and boring but i never understood why. having character…
Not all caring and nice male leads are bland and boring BUT mostly when it's a female who is the main character of the story, there's this kind of tendency that the male counterpart is a flat character who only there for being a ray of sunshine. I got to take an example from the guys of Hospital Playlist who are famous as nice and caring men, but they have more. Like Ikjun is nosy, Jeongwon is stingy, overthinker, crybaby, Junwan is a straight shooter, and Seokhyeong is an asocial. Are those necessarily negative traits? No, that's what makes a character more alive and not too 'dreamy'. As you said, the depth can be seen from how a character reacts, but still I don't see much except he's nice to YW and a bit hesitant to act because again he wants to be 'nice' for YW. To be fair, yes, we haven't seen yet a focus episode of JH and YW, while I'm not against the romance, I feel that the focus most likely will be about their romantic relationship, not LJH from litigation team. And no, I don't demand something deeper like JH's backstory or family background, it's more like him as a person, at least in that law firm.
This is disturbing. And the most disturbing thing is, that most people don't think it's disturbing. The girl is…
1. The only disturbing is your comment. 2. Your opinions only based on your assumption of things which you have a very little knowledge of, and it shows. 3. And most of it are wrong, because how can you say everyone around the FL is nice to her when she has to moving to a countryside to avoid bullying that in the end she still has to experience it?
Can someone spoil me with how exactly Yoomi lives someone's life? Like is it identity stealing or what? I've been curious about this since the first trailer and there is still no sub for this drama. Thank you in advance!
That's not an open ending at all, they resolve the curse. The scene where Kihoon and Soojin found the corpse it's just a thriller effect to show that now they are investigating such cases, nothing to do with the main case in the drama.
It's pretty straighforward story. This risks a lack of engagement viewers to the characters yes I agree but I don't find it difficult to understand what messages they want to deliver. Similar to Hellbound but they portray different human issue. And for the ending scene with the burned corpse, I think it's somewhat related to Hellbound.
he was working somewhere he could not home due to quarantine
Then what if they make her husband is working abroad and they have to endure long distance marriage? While like I said marriage is different, are you sure it still won't hurt or making viewers asking for justification of why Heedo and Yijin didn't end up together? At this point nothing will satisfy the viewers. It never about the husband nor have any purpose to give him details, except for viewers to keep seeking fault at her marriage.
he was working somewhere he could not home due to quarantine
This isn't apple to apple comparison. Marriage is different. We don't even know either the husband went for one time business trip only or else, or since when he has to work travelling.
Heedo and Yijin can seem face all the hurdles together when they aren't in a relationship but not once they are official lol. It happened tho, romantic relationship requires compromise, commitment, responsibility, not only love. People can be more demanding and selfish to their partner because they feel they own them. There are broken promises, hurting yet missing each other which is hardly a problem before they got together. Nonetheless, I'm thanking the writer for revealing that Minchae is a Kim, so I have my expectation very low and set on my mind that doesn't really matter how it ends they never meant to be together anyway. One little thing that still bothers me is how old Minchae is? I read that she's 15 which means in 2009 (the funeral, retirement, interview) Heedo has had a toddler but there are no trace of it 😅

I'm just speaking in general, like how extramarital affair ruin a marriage and it will effect the child condition, good tho that you don't experience it.

It's one of the factor, the child needs still the priority for sure but adultery isn't helping you especially when it's effecting the child condition and the household in general, like we know in most cases we heard.
In the UK Family Courts favour the mother in matters of custody (not officially, but most of the time in practice).…
I guess generally it's same everywhere, especially for underage kid. Adding the fact that the son isn't his biological child. Realistically speaking, if one is proven has extramarital affair likely they will lose the custody, that's why it's weird for Jinseok to still stick with Chanyoung if he, as per drama, really wants the son custody.
I read somewhere about Heedo and Yijin age phase where Heedo getting hurt, could it be because she was lied to about Injeolmi? I hope it's not, I don't wanna this get dragged too long.
And glad that it's Yurim who know their real identity now, since she's the one who being cold to Heedo I wanna see how she handle this information.
At first, I want to understand how sge feels like insecure, lost confidence but as the episode keeps on going,…
She's on national team the training cost is funded by government, she even has advertisement since she's a gold medalist. Her fear of no more next time is that her place as a top player is being replaced and not being the best anymore because that's the only way she thinks she can repay her parents. When in fact, as long as she keeps working harder and thriving then nothing to worry about, new rising player still keeps coming she can't keep other people for not playing. But her insecurity get the best of herself.
Yup I don't her at all, plus I know people here are all ranting about sportsmanship and everything but they keep…
Wait, when and where are there conversations that show she is the breadwinner of the family? Did I miss it? Genuine asking. Her mom has a food stall, her dad has a job, I thought all this poor family narrative is because she feels indebted to her family for supporting her fencing so that's why she has to do well not because she's the main support of her family finance.
Anyhow, yes the drama depicts very well what and how she acts certain that way. They already gave her point of view and perspective. Her insecurities, her family background, her past match with Heedo, I think we all know that very well. But as everyone has said, the outcome of her narrative so far is she's projecting her problems to Heedo by unfairly treating her bad. And for me it's worse when she's a professional player who should know better about rivalry and sportmanship, if it's not Heedo, someone else will be. I mean, she's not a lone ranger either in both school club and national training, there are other fencer too. Just because their past match that happened long ago and because Heedo said she's her fan? It's weird, like she must be ever defeated by other athlete, no? But she's specifically mean to Heedo.
Her character growth is only will be her admitting and realizing her irrational behavior not anything else because nothing can justify her behavior at this point.
