initially i wasn't really looking forward to this drama cause the plot didn't interest me but i gave it a shot anyway and was really surprised by how much i enjoyed it. the overall mood/feel of the drama was nice and the actors all did well. i'm actually really really looking forward to the next episodes to see how the plot develops

non-bl kdramas don't really do stuff like that so there's not really any reason for bl shows to

i usually like when kdramas get right into the story but this felt a bit rushed, we didn't really get a feel for the tone of the drama before they were hitting us with the plot

honestly everything makes me miss wyel...changed the game for me i can't help but compare everything i watch to it

wait they're only a year apart?? lol they made this big deal about the age difference and it's a year??? even the work experience difference is only two years. man i've been watching korean media for years and as hard as i try i will still never understand stuff like this

considering seon ho is like 35 and she is currently playing a high schooler, a relationship between them just seems so weird to me

yes that's pretty much how i feel, a case-by-case basis, some are okay to me, some aren't. but i do think it can give people a bad impression of the bl genre because their are already so many toxic tropes, and then there are stepbrother relationships that cross the line into morally questionable

except people don't dislike the step brothers trope because it's overused, they dislike it because they have a moral issue with it (that the characters are legally related, even though they aren't related by blood). it makes sense that people would be uncomfortable with it, it would be weird to date someone when one of your parents is married to one of theirs. personally i'd still be interested in giving the show a chance, but you can't be surprised that some people are bothered by it

i choose to believe they get together after the movie is over. that's the only way to keep my sanity lol

also relevant is that their is emotion associated with the colors that adds to why they don't want to lose the color, it's not just that you can see colors you also feel very strong emotions
