it’s a trailer, not meant to spoil out a whole story. While rewatching I get why you could feel confusion but…
oh no i wouldn’t want much more plot information, these long pilot trailers are too spoiler-y for me, i was just hoping to get a feel for the tone ie i couldn’t really tell whether it was a comedy/drama/etc. and the plot summary here on my drama list doesn’t reveal too much but is super interesting, but honestly i would have trouble understanding that was the concept of the show from the trailer. and i just think it wasn’t super well edited. the music they chose didn’t match the tone of the clips and some of the clips weren’t a good fit for a trailer since trailers need to grab viewers attention while introducing the story in a fairly straightforward and cohesive way. it’s hard to make a good trailer, but i’ve always been impressed by be on cloud’s series so even if i hated the trailer, which i don't, i would still be giving the show a chance haha
i love love love the concept for this show but imo the trailer was so poorly edited. i think if the trailer had been better done i would be way more excited. it was hard to get an idea of the tone of the series and it just seemed like a bunch of unconnected characters and clips rather than a cohesive introduction to the vibe of the show. but on the positive side i guess that means it can be more of a surprise when i watch it
Not to discredit this show in any way , I’m sure it will be fantastic in the category of social issue and activism…
i haven't watched them but weren't 4 minutes and dead friend forever sci-fi and horror respectively? wasn't there like time travel in 4 minutes and murder in dead friend forever. idk but in any case you might be interested in the upcoming goddess bless you from death, not from be on cloud but the pilot trailer looked pretty high budget.
really was considering dropping but their kiss scenes are like…wow. why is the acting better in those scenes than the rest of the show. so much passion
Do we know who's directing this? Is it the same person who directed Love in Translation and Century of Love and has a reputation for being harsh? I really hate the idea of continuing the support projects that the director is a part of, though I like Daou and Offroad.
I’m trying to better understand thai names. I understand the nicknaming system, and that Offroad is a nickname that is used in daily life as a name. But which of Kantapon or Jindataweephol his given name and which is his family/surname? I often see him called “Offroad Kantapon” as if Kantapon is his surname, but I thought it was his official given name. Is the way Kantapon is used different because he’s a celebrity and needs brand recognition in a way regular people don’t? If anyone knows more about this I would love to better understand.
i bawled like a baby. these child actors are phenomenally talented. no notes
the scene where minato pulls yori out of the bathtub and you see the bruises was one of the most emotionally shocking scenes i have seen in a movie. yori's relentless optimism against the endless cruelty he has in his life and then you see just how bad it is and even to the point it could be possibly be his death. even though it wasn't out of nowhere the visual was so shocking, i burst into tears. this is a movie that makes you want to give every child in your life a hug lol. i need to tell my nieces and nephews i love them
in my opinion this is such an underrated movie. it's such an interesting and unique story with so many different emotional notes and sentiments throughout. and although it's lesser known, it's quite high quality. it's definitely slow but i can tell it's a stylistic choice since every scene is very intentional and none of them feel unnecessary.
it's really hard to tell while watching the movie whether the ending will be happy or heartbreaking, but in the end i was satisfied with the ending. it was closer to happy for me, but maybe that's because i was imagining all the much sadder ways it could have ended. i love the idea that the mom and yongjun were being strong for soohyun, and it was only once they had a moment to breathe that everything caught up to them and they started to really feel the effects of how hard it had been to cope with the situation and put on a brave face.
Wait, why do they delete it? I don't understand...
Yes, I was debating paying when I saw there were no free options but it's quite a bit for what it is. I get they need to make money but they also lose potential viewers.

Because they created the show (which costs money) so they want it to be viewed through official sources because that's how they make money. If everyone watches through unofficial sources they don't make any money and can't make shows.
