As an autistic person, the way the autism spectrum was portrayed in It's Okay to Not Be Okay was one of the many…
i feel like if you hadn't dropped it you wouldn't think that lol. sang tae really develops into a main character with his own goals by the end of the drama. he gains a lot of independence

Thank you for writing this article. As someone likely to be on the autism spectrum I found it difficult to watch…
i think there's a pretty big difference in severity of their autism though so they're not really a fair comparison, taking care of sang tae was a lot of work for gang tae. we can't act like that's always going to be easy and never going to be a burden, taking care of other people is a lot of pressure and a lot of work. i have autism too and i don't like the thought that things i don't have control over are a hassle or a nuisance for other people, but the truth is that sometimes they are. there are things i can't do and things i need to do a certain way and that can make things harder for other people. i think the important thing to remember, as they establish by the end of the drama, is that doesn't mean that person doesn't love us or that it's our fault for things outside of our control. it also means they need to balance the load a little bit more. gang tae was taking on too much on his own and was resenting his brother for that, which wasn't fair to sang tae, but by the end of the drama sang tae had more independence and gang tae was doing less on his own, which makes it more manageable.

I completely disagree about Sang Tae, is he shown as a burden to his brother? Yeah. But that's because they have…
like the whole reason he was seen as a burden is because the brother was doing it all on his own and had nothing in his life that brought him joy (all he did all day was work and take care of his brother). being a caregiver is an extremely difficult job and expecting people not to get tired and burnt out is unreasonable. they weren't saying sang tae was a bad person who was trying to bring his brother down or something like that. i think op missed the whole point. i think acknowledging how difficult the situation was is actually way healthier than acting like it's always sunshine and roses.

i'm really excited, but i do wish the actors didn't have such an age gap. that's been pretty common in bls recently and it makes me somewhat uncomfortable

they already have the perfect energy for their characters -- competitive, flirty, somehow soft and rough at the same time like they care but they don't know how to show it?? i'm so ready for this series it's not even funny

i know gmm usually films trailers and then films the shows after, so the footage from the trailer doesn't end up getting used...but if they don't use the kiss scene at the end of the trailer imma be pissed. the lighting and setting were literally beautiful. i just know if they refilm it it's not gonna be the same
