she doesn't end up with seojun in the webtoon either, at least here he doesn't deal w a break up
Umm Seojun did see her face. And he treated her the same. And a relationship is not any better or less because of someone showing their bare face. She was not comfortable and she was insecure and Seojun understood that and let her have her right to do whatever with her body.
What does dating a month or so anything not realistic? I'm NOT saying that u can't break up with seojun, i am SAYING that her not being able to forget about her highschool crush whom she never even confessed her love to him is very unrealistic. Their relationship never developed like how her and seojuns did.
Seojun and Jugyeongs relationship was so much more realistic and relaxed then Jugyeongs and Suhos complicated feelings for one another. They never had complex or deep connections in the webtoon like they did in the drama.
I also never said the webtoon is better than the drama, i am saying the webtoon was completely better and fine when seojun and jugyeong are in a relationship than this whole i need to go back to my first love thing.

I didn't say anything about the drama, i'm talking about the webtoon. theres nothing wrong with the romance here, though it was nothing special to me bcs its cliche. I probably would have dropped this if it weren't for the other factors like comedy, wholesome friendships, and beautiful visuals. The story seemed lacking to me because this relationship is nothing new.
Anyways, in the webtoon Jugyeong really got on my nerves. She and Seojun dated and Seojun put most part of the effort in the relationship and got a job for her and did a lot for her, he was by her sidee wayyyy more than Suho so he obviously, in terms of actions, deserved her more. But the author decided to force this unrealistic "oh my gosh i can't get over my first love" on Jugyeong so she was more in the relationship because of a rebound from Suho, then actually contributing to it. And yes, this is why i am annoyed by her. She was always very indecisive from the start and never was genuine with her feelings towards Seojun, only to suddenly break up with him in the end, leaving him confused and disheartened. I'm not saying u can't break up with someone but seriously, her actions are not that smart.
This whole trivial of Suho and Jugyeongs underlying feelings for one another only to leave Seojun, who actually developed something with her, hurt in the end makes sense as to why he still wanted to at least be friends with her. He deserved her more in the webtoon and she i thought at one point they would end up together because of how she returned her feelings, only to understand later on that she never was genuine.
Thats why i like Jugyeong more in the drama. Though she is still quite naive here, she actually knows and has worth in her decisions, instead of playing with someones feelings without having the awareness on what shes doing.
I never said that the webtoon is any better than the drama. The drama is definitely better but it wow me or intrigue me. This story in itself is nothing great, its an okay story.
Seojun deserved better in the webtoon but in the drama, he got better justice which is at least fine.
she doesn't end up with seojun in the webtoon either, at least here he doesn't deal w a break up
so true, the webtoon was completely fine when she was dating Seojun but of course its more realistic that a naive girl will go back to her highschool crush when their relationship never even developed lmao.
True beauty was still peaceful but god remember start up???
I find True Beautys comment section the worse. For me, its not about how many complaints there are but what they are. For start up, the complaints were not petty, people had reasonable respectful rants and actually explained in a logical perspective on what they thought. For True Beauty though... its not bad but there were definitely some petty arguments over two men and it was ANNOYING.
You're on the spot, thsese petty fights ruins drama,it happened in true beauty but not to that extent but it completely…
Start Up, i can understand. Tbh the plot was weak and the writing deserved the negative criticism lmao. A lot of the "complaints" were actually reasonable discussions, not just petty arguments, at least for me.
But yes. i agree. It ruins the vibe but u can't really do anything about it, internet is internet.
i just hope this comment section, when it airs, can maintain users who are mature. please don't be like True Beaty where biased users argued with one another for the pettiest reasons.
i'm kinda surprised by all of the negative comments here! i personally thought this drama was super cute. i loved…
you can go on the trending page and see if u want to watch a show from there,
Mr. Queen is really good for something to make you smile and laugh. If you wan't to watch something action full of blood then Alice in Borderland (fantastic show) and if u want a slice of life theme, then the show Run On
It's a human psychology, when they try to hide that they hate someone they pretend to show that they love them.…
You don't know that. You don't know his/her intention for writing that comment. As long as she didn't hate on Jisoo, all is good. Her starting the paragraph off saying she is a Jisoo fan is obviously a technique used by many to defend themselves because they know they are going to be attacked, so be it. Why is it such an issue to you that he/she started it like that? I don't find anything wrong with it, as humans, we will always have some sort of bias with a particular person but as long as we are not hating on the other opponent, we can give our praises as much as we please. And her argument was logical. She's just skeptical if Jisoo can pull it off like Hye Hoon, that's all.
Don't know what the hype is about. It wasn't that special. Just average. Clichés everywhere, as expected. Personally,…
I feel the same way as well. I was just...bored? Like some episodes were top tier and really what got me going was how funny it was and the damn friendships. Besides that, the story isn't anything new. A great FL and great ML is also nothing new, i have seen all of that. The story just seemed lacking in a particular area but it got its job done so thats that.
I'm looking for this comment in drama's comment section finally someone said about self respect
and also the guy sucks, both of the characters are unlikable and i hate when dramas romanticize toxic relationships but i'll let it pass because this drama is old
I wonder what people were thinking when they started the drama to comment later that this was predictable. Like…
its probably cause a lot didn't start this show with that in mind. true beauty blew up so people would want to see whats all the fuss about. or probably they had their limit of toleration to cliche/predictable plots and this show surprassed it, who knows.
a lot of people also continue watching a show they practically hate cause they love torturing themselves *cough* boys over flowers *cough*
I always see u saying team Suho winning! team Suho winning! like yes? we all know that. This whole story is cliche…
it was never different in the webtoon lol. its just us fans who created these teams. it was clear from the start that the writer would have never let seojun go through all that unnecessary pain only for suho to return
Congo #TeamSuho finally Suho said I still like you a lot to JK in webtoon too....#TeamSuho winning in process
I always see u saying team Suho winning! team Suho winning! like yes? we all know that. This whole story is cliche and predictable. He's the main lead lol. Idk why u repeat this common concept but you do you.
