The story in itself is nothing extraordinary. I really don't care about that whole financial law whatever blah blah situation. I'm more here for the cast, concept, and romance. So i do think this show will get better through each episode but obviously we need to wait and see.
Its not about her wanting to change it, it was completely fine if she did. But her intentions, in my opinion,…
Jugyeongs family had so much more charm than the lead people themselves. The story focused more on this relationship than Jugyeong herself, which is why i think a lot of viewers found it misleading. I don't get why a couple needs to grow by other characters serving as a bridge for them in pain while they cross over. Thats a very cheap and overdone plot. Especially when you deceive viewers to think that Soojin would be a badass women and Seojun actually moving on. I found side characters more interesting than the two leads but thats just my preference. The story is quite shallow especially considering she's been writing it for a year, just two guys head over heels over a girl.
But yes, each their own. Obviously thats just my preference and expectations and you probably had different expectations, which is fine. I just wanted to convey my thoughts.
Even before reading Lee Sieun's interview answers, I thought it was pretty obvious that she had begun writing…
Its not about her wanting to change it, it was completely fine if she did. But her intentions, in my opinion, did not fit her execution.
The adaptation was good but i certainly did not find it as excellent as how the first half of the webtoon was, thats how True Beauty clicked, people were instantly hooked because the webtoon used to be so good and less cliche with a touch of more maturer comedy. But now the story messed up and its just about a damsel in distress and two males who cant stop simping over her, its so annoying.
Personally, I would expect someone to write so much better if they had that much time all the way back when Suho was introduced. She could have had much more time in making this drama wayy better than the webtoon. The story just did not click for me in the beginning episodes and the last three, i loved the middle part though. Like what was the purpose of some characters? You put Seojun and Soojin in the main lead but exactly why? Seojun could have been more instead of stupidly simping over a girl who doesn't see his existence and Soojin, gosh, she handled it terribly on her. Even some supporting characters were handled better than them. Like i don't see the point of many characters, who were so much more better in the webtoon, besides Jugyeong and Suho. She either purposely wrote like this or just rushed.
This story was more about a half done love triangle and bullying and self esteem as a side plot. If this story was more about Jugyeongs struggles and less of her being forcefully naive, Suho and Seojun stop being so overbearingly simps whom many of the actions looking so unnatural and overdone, and Soojin actually having a story and character, then i would have given it at least an 8. But i came to realize i couldn't because the story seemed so all over the place and i could not pinpoint exactly what it was.
I do want to give props to Suho and Jugyeongs relationship. Though i did not like everything like how she made him go to America and then coming back and now this sudden reconciliation (it all looked rushed and forced by only 2 episodes) it still got its job done so at least something got properly made.
Oh Hana you are sanity to this comment sections....I do like the FL as well, i think is not her comfort zone she…
Yeah her acting isn't the greatest but it is still good enough to enjoy. The male lead is my favorite here, i never watched any of his films but his charisma already struck me. Wow he is very talented!
Also same. There is not much chemistry yet but i cannot wait when they get more closer and all lovey dovey, i like this soon to be couple!
In my opinion, i think people need to stop expecting so much from two episodes. I mean yeah go ahead and state your opinion but in my opinion, let us at least try to be reasonable instead of complaining how this story has no depth. There are many kdramas/shows out there that get better as episodes go by, you know like a slow burn? So let us find out! Not saying you cannot say the negatives (ex: i don't like the female lead, too much comedy, etc.) but some comments here, i feel as if it is a reach;.
Like how people are already saying it's horrible and not well put when the story has not even gotten to its climax lmaoo. I don't like to judge so much when we have not even seen much of it's potential.
No invalidation, i just feel like it is a bit much to act like a police with only two episodes.
I do like the FL, i think she has potential, it's just that she overreacts sometimes, and i'm like girl...chill. But she's still cool and fun! I don't really see what people dislike about her but you do you.
It got popular because of the webtoon, Eunwoo, and Gayoung, and Yoo Na. In Yeop was not really known much before…
Eunwoo was definitely the most popular one but Gayoung was quite well known as well. Yoo Na, a fair amount as well. But In Yeop, not really so he got really famous from this drama.
Some people here be acting like they are investors or hired promoters of this drama. If some people don’t like…
Ugh tell me about it. I remember all the accusations that would come storming at me when i said this character is boring or i don't like the acting. Jesus.

I find this just another lazy writing. But whatever, this ended and i don't really care anymore.
