The actress playing FL is just so beautiful and graceful. seriously I do not believe ML took all that time to fall for her or that not half the village is in love with her already 🤣.

Seriously one of the worst traits in romantic MLs in cdrama. I am not bothered by him yet because I still like the story and LOOOOVE the FL. I just hope FL makes him grovel for a loooong time. she deserves way better.

I haven't heard of Love and destiny. how is the FL in that? TTOTM was all over the place for me. Inconsistant characters and story throughout . I fastforwarded through that whole second arc and despised the last arc. LYF S2 made a deliberate choice to tone down ML's character . One decision in particular that made the novel great and the show a complete joke.
was tempted to watch this cuz I find costume ZLH super hot lmao. But then I remembered I am swearing off xianxa and xuanhuan after the disappoinment that was TTOTM and LYF s2. Hopefully he makes another historical like MJTY or SOKP sooon!
this is already one of the best jdramas I have seen and I am still at ep 2. one of the best FLs ever. incredible natural acting from lead actress . I hope it's a HE I can't bear the thought of this kind of FL not having everything she wants by the end .

I literally would have prefered not watching whatever watered down crap we got here and leaving me with the good memory that I had of season 1 atp, I am just too lazy to change my pp .
starting ep 59 and I can't believe they just "scent of timed" me. This is ridiculous. I held hope till the end that the script rumor was false because this is just so anticlimatic and destroys the best thing that made the novel. I don't even feel like continuing this tbh.
I recommended this to my friend who never watched a chinese drama (or an asian drama that is) in her life. and she is at episode 13 in her second day. Says it's very unrealistic and dramatic but too complling to not continue watching . I did warn her 🤣🤣🤣
I was becoming quite disenchanted with the drama the last few days but I'm back and fully onboard with these last 2 episodes. yang zi DELIVERED. what a powerful sincere performance. I shed tears and griefed with her the loss of jing all the way. which happens quite rarely for me cuz I rarely if ever cry watching dramas . The way she described jing to CX facing his denigrations was so powerful as well. at least the person he loved understood how incredibly rare and beautiful the inner strength he has. In reality CX, though an incredibly smart and wise ruler, seem quite small compared to him.
I hate that A'nian is hang up on CX. she deserves waaay better. especially when RS IS RIGHT THERE! But I'm glad he doesn't like her back. he doesn't need his heart to be heartbroken . he has been one of the highlights for me since forever.
Getting bored ngl.. the war episodes could have been exciting showing us at least one battle of Fenlong and Ru Shou facing off but nah we get cartoon drawings and brief aftermath descriptions by some of the characters. I thought this show had enough budget but even some scenes look cheap now.
I don't know but I feel that there has been a drop in quality in season 2 all around. I don't remember the dubbing was this bad before either.
I have been reading the novel . I am at chapter 130. and I really can't see how this will get adapted. the FL and ML both do VERY questionable things..a lot of crazy people all around it isn't at all believable . they have to water everyone down immensly for this to pass censorship. so curious to see how will this pan out
The ending was great. I was worried I'll get pranked like in scent of time but it wasn't the case. maybe this opens the door for time travel stories in the future without stupid gimmicks? Anyway, the final showdown between ML and SML was pretty epic. I feel pretty good about everyone's fate. especially the FL's. Will rewatch once better subtitles are available.
