A slow start to season 2 but still enjoyed it. can't wait for when yaojing resolve their differences . hope we at least get some episodes of them enjoying life before all hell comes loose 😭.
CX remains the most layered character(my favorite ngl) but I can't help but resent his selfishness when it comes to forcing XY to his side. I love XY so much and just want my girl to thrive living her life as a humble physician
From the comments I am obviously in the minority because I love the FL. she is such a fresh breath from the other goody two shoes. I don't see her being with SRQ as cheating since they were separated for the longest time lmao.if it were the modern times they would have been easily divorced without the power/reputation factor.
I can't wait 😭 I can't believe I waited a year for them. reading the novel after finishing the first season was chef's kiss I can't wait for yaojing scenes together and the drama with my boy CX. . hopefully it stays faithful like it was done in S1.
the other show I was planning on watching is kinda meh so back to my original plan to rewatch some key scenes from season 1 and hype up towards season 2.

Lmao exactly. I had to lower my rating as well. I was too in love with this drama and one of its biggest defenders. But I am so disappoined that the last 10 minutes succeeded in tampering the memory I was sure this drama was gonna leave me. I thought this was gonna be another dream of splendor for me one of my all time favorites. I will see if I will give more later depending on whether I'll want to rewatch it.

I am so worried ngl. the fact that the previous life is a dream is not 100% confirmed just speculation from leads. I don't wanna waste my time like I did with scent if time.
I had days to mule it over. and I must say. I HATE the ending.
even the apparent happy ending in the form of the fan servicey extra episode that I'm usually very much into, cannot wash away how disjointed the last episode felt for me. they should have stopped at the marriage. But no director chose that ridiculous war scene and that BS ending full of fake pretentious symbolism. multiple points that I just HATED: - Sudden problem at the border with focus on new character that wasnt properly introduced. - gratuitous killing of sidekicks that till now had always conveniently survived everything. could have had legitimate earned moments when they could have been axed . but no cram both their deaths in the last 10 min it is. - no way in hell ML survived and if he did that's even worse cuz that's just lazy writing and director unable to explain his miraculous survival. - BS red dress scenes with winds blowing up mains character hair cuz director in love with 🌬️. - ending not totally supported by production and attempt to gastlight viewers with 5 min of supposed happy ending that literally just creates a GLARING plot hole.
